I have played quite a few online games and guild wars has THE WORST LAG OF ANY GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED

And it has been this way for me ever since day one when prophecies was released. And these last few weeks I wont even play the game because its so terrible. it takes 5 whole minutes to zone sometimes!

I say they need to cut the number of people in a district in half, districts with less people lag less.

Does seem worse in busier districts. Its always a struggle to run through kaineng center or kamedan. Hopefully A-net will sort it out soon as its starting to majorly effect gameplay.

Last night in an American district, I got huge lag spikes while in Ice Caves of Sorrow (outpost). While there were some people around, it was by no means as busy as LA/KC/Kamadan.

I hope the new update is a lag fix.. *crosses fingers*

Anet did promise free online play, but never said anything about it being lag free.

Maybe they should import the DoA/RoT mob stats and envirnoment effects to the whole game along with more nerfs to skills and farming. I am sure this will make more players leave the game freeing up more bandwidth for others.

The lag seems to have cleared up. I haven't had any problems today.

It is just getting worse and worse...bang on 8pm GMT today, event starts and I get disconnected...

No guild (again), alliance chat not working, I know anet have put a thread to discuss but frankly I am not here to help with their housekeeping, buy a proper server...

The game sadly has become unplayable...
