Looks like another go around for Beetle Racing! Yaaaaaaay!!!

From GW website:

From Noon PST on Friday, February 23, through 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, February 25, you can participate in three great activities: The Dragon Arena, the Shing Jea Boardwalk, and Rollerbeetle Racing. For each win you will reap rewards in the form of Victory Tokens, which you can then exchange for prizes in Shing Jea Monastery and the Great Temple of Balthazar. And of course you can work on your Gamer title, too. Join us this weekend for all the fun and games!

Anybody have any specific plans? I really enjoyed the Rollerbeeetle Racing but didnt get a chance to do a lot of it. I've always enjoyed the Boardbalk. Always a great time. Back to Back events. Great job!!

I guess I'm gonna try some rollerbeetle racing again this weekend... And of course the boardwalk!


EDIT: Does the boardwalk include the ring gamble games? And if so, will every victory there give a Victory Token as well? Kind of an easy way to get them then, I guess :S

Omg Yes Its Wat Ive Been Waiting For! If the Gamer Points in the Dragon Arena are similar to that of the Snowball Arena, I have 3 words to say...

I really hope the gamer points for the Dragon Arena are like what they were for the snowball arena. It would be a lot more fun to get the points since the matches there are almost always very close and very fun either way. Snowball was fun, but if people didn't know what to do, you were pretty much screwed.

I'm a bit confused. Why do these events happen in chapter 2? Shouldnt these events be in chapter 3 since its the new chapter? Maybe it does and I just dont know.

Before alot of the events were happening only in Tyria and Elona. Now people who only had Factions got grumphy and now they get some love . (It could also be a marketing scheme because Anet wants more money...)

They need a mini ladder for Dragon Arena like they did with the Rollerbeetle Racing.Maybe give the top 100 players a mini Glint or something.

Yeah! another AFK weekend money sink! I so want the Cursed title, perfect for my necro.

Along the same lines, I think that all the Factions action is to bring people to the game, (all those Nightfall owners without Factions) and could it be (gasp) an indication that Ch4 is somhow more tied to Factions?

YAY I am excited about this. I only got into Rollerbeetle Racing a couple of hours before the New Year event ended, but I will definitely be playing it some more this weekend. Plus, I can finally trade in those 300+ victory tokens left over from last time More sugar and alcohol!

All I can say is THANK YOU ANET, I didn't get to participate in either the Dragon Arena OR the Shing Jea boardwalk (Real Life is a B1tch) so thank you very much, I can finally try them out

PS: Read description of Shing Jea Boardwalk on Wiki, saw how the Wurm game works and thought "Can you say Sugary Blue Drink!?!?!"
