A lot of people stopped going because no one in the alliance that owns House Zu Helzer can care less to be around to ferry the players to Urgoz or/and have a real life, but would rather repeat the Scoutmaster Arne quest 24/7 to keep up an unimportant town.
It's not just an interpretation, it's a known fact either you wish to believe it or not. Urgoz has now become a waste of time thanks to these limited possibilities unless we are having one of them special elite mission events.
Atleast the people who run Cavalon can get the Deep running way better.

It's about time someone spoke the truth about those losers. Forgive my french. Just take in mind, because the Alliances' that have owned House Zu Helzer (Seven Deadly Sins, TLS) have absolutely no lives what so ever. If anyone of them say they do, they are lying. I swear they are those type of players who don't just run a repeatable quest 24/7 (Located in Lutgardis Conservatory. It's nice to farm for amber and make some quick cash once in a while, but these people take it way too serious. lol), but more than likely come to those conventions, very fat trying to dress like a monk or ritualist. These are the type of people that get bullied in high school every day for being losers, so let them have their "town." Their "identity."
Urgoz lost it's importances already because of how dead the alliances made it. Yes, once in a blue you will get a ferry to only find out that barely anyone in my district or the international is around. Of course to lack of a good Alliance.
I love the Deep. The alliance that seems to own Cavalon, doesn't do a bad job keeping the Deep fun for everyone. Urgoz, however. Just forget it.

I vote for Dune of Despair bonus.I have to play that one over 20 times before I got master.
The bonus is about leaving someone behind with ghostly hero and try to keep him alive while the rest rushing for the boss and kill bosses before enemy rienforcement storming the ghostly hero.
Becuse the bonus require some planed tactics while this place usually having those who are not knowing GW deep enough.I got all those frustation such as
free rider, people screaming "noob" at you, rage quitter.
Whats more is that peopl usually rely too much on guildwiki and cant figure how does this misson work.
In the end I ask some people on the friend list who do listen to tactics and ended up master.

I tend to avoid bonuses and masters in order to keep my sanity.
The one mission that has been a thorn in my side since NF came out is definitely Gates of Madness. You spend 45min getting to the end and you get shiro to the edge of death and he wipes your party out

I know a lot of people disliked the infamous thunderhead keep, but i enjoyed it! I had no problem enjoying arborstone, either. I would say Elona Reach is one of my least favourites. I also thought Venta Cemetary was a bit dreary.

what i think are the worst missions:
-Imperial Sanctum
-Grand Court of Sebelkeh
-Ruins of Morah
-Abaddon's Gate
stupid repetitive boss fights that can be done in less than 10mins aren't missions (the doppleganger fight in augory rock needs at least some thinking before you go in)

Kissing up to an allliance? I don't care either way. I am a purely PvE player who is in a Luxon guild and prefers Kurzick armours...I couldn't give a ratt's ass about alliances. I think they set the whole thing up wrong once I saw people in luxon and/or kurzick armour fighting on both sides.
But it occured to me that in most places at most times there's hardly a soul around so it seemed to me that it was a bit easy to blame it on whoever was controlling HzH.
I played Urgoz once and actually got the longbow which I sold and decided I hated it cause it was too damn long and tedious...
Honestly I don't know if you're right or wrong but you sure point the finger quickly...

umm aura glade is super easy if done right the bonus can be done with only 2 humans person one takes the crystal and runs it to the top shrine (3) ex:
______3
1
____2
__Start:
as person one runs to shrine 3 they place the crystal at the shrine and take a small path theough to the back area of the mission do not run back to the start of youre crystal shrine you can sneak back and kill the Demagogue this guy is only lvl 16 i have soloed him with every class in the game after killing him wait for the white mattle to move from there crystal when it respawns take it do not place iot though as now they wolnt be able to cap shrines just run like hell from them.
all the wile person number 2 is caping all but one shrine till the bonus is finished then feal free to cap the third shrine and finish mission.
if you want i can fraps a video of myself doing this and provide maps to the back path just let me know

I also hate Arborstone or w/e the one is when you have to get the ashes, thats hard too.

Those are two of my favorites, and ANet needs to make more of these types of missions.

I'll take Gate of Madness Shiro over Imperial Sanctum Shiro anyday. He's a lot weaker in the former than the latter...

I'll nominate Ruins of Surmia simply because Rurick has the foresight of a gnat and charges into everything.

Jennur's Horde and Vizunah square are jsut missions i hate incredibly. Vizunah is the most annoying thing ever to be put in GW. jsut and overall terrible mission. Jennur's Horde, well i just don't like it.
oh and how can people say Arborstone is hard? I henched it with my Sin not dying once and going through with enough time to spare to probably have a quick dance party before i finished. And i didn't ahve any anti-interupt spells or anything. Its really not hard at all.

QFT
Arborstone and THK are really easy if you keep your head. But to make Vizunah Square a mission where you have to group with 8 other people that you have no control over is evil. Also in Jennur's horde having mobs spawn every two minutes is killer when your trying to go up the stairs to kill the extra harbringers for masters. As a side note, Grand Court of Sebelka masters in 6 minutes is pretty evil itself but doable with a little bit of luck and a lot of patience.

I dont see how everyone suffers so badly on this mission, Shiros a walk over, I went for Masters and never attacked him although the 6 (Yes only 6 of them) Heros/Henchies did on occasion while i was capturing the Shrines and he died before i could finish capturing the last shrine.
Vizunah is great too its a AoE dream.

Its funny. I did factions with henchies, and the other team was always amazed that a team with 7 henchies beat it with them, and I was amazed when a team of 8 real people (probably about 5 in each group were W/mo) beat it with us.

This is not a difficult mission. The fighting is pretty easy all the way thru. However I've just spent an entire weekend pugging this mission with IDIOTS. All I need is the bonus here and no matter how many times you repeat "do not kill the centaurs", "do not kill the centaurs", "do not kill the centaurs"
"Do NOT kill the centaurs!", some jerk will inevitably kill the centaurs.
|
This is SOOOO true. Even when I was a newbie I listened to others not to kill the centaurs. Oh well.
As far as the Aurora Glade mission I have to agree it is one of the most annoying missions at the end. I've been through Prophecies with 5 characters now and I still struggle with that pedestal crap.
Interestingly I found only 1 person mention their distaste for Elona Reach. That one to me is the one mission I've hated the most. Since I've attempted it so many times I can honestly say that it is fairly easy and straight forward if you know what you are doing, but it is damn near the most difficult mission to PUG because of people over-aggroing patrols and stuff because they apparently don't understand aggro control.
