There are so many unused skills in pve currently.
Can't believe you want to rebuff ex-imbalanced skills. If that happens, all people would use the same build everywhere and everytime like when SF-ele was popular.
But on the other side, a skill which get nerfed should be worth to get nerfed. Energy surge for example was NEVER overpowered and the aoe decrease by nearly 50% completely destroyed the skill for pve and was a kind of over-nerf. It's totally crap now like most mesmers elite skills.

No class should have anything overpowering. Nor should the mobs you fight (excluding perhaps unique, boss-type characters).

So just because other classes are over powered, you don't play the other classes that are the way they are supposed to be? Nothing should be over powered, it makes things to easy.
There's a Latin saying, sine labore nihil, which means "nothing without work". I don't think you're a person who likes that saying if you just use over powered classes and nothing else.

Fact remain mobs are still overpowering they are tough like hell the even respawn themselves if not kept in check and they hurt like hell too.
PvE only skill are just evening the odds against power creep around
Like i said before if you want Challenge try hard mode or DoA
Everything works like a learning curve with the ever problemic PuG maybe with PvE only skill we might have some fun with other players again then vomit blood trying to teach them cookie cutter build and trying to make a generalization of everything. Why still play PuG why not just hero and hench it.

Which skills are you refering to that were nerfed and ruined their PvE application? By PvE application, I don't mean farming.

This was not a PvP balance. Minion Factories were hardly a build that was devestating in Halls, and I only ever saw minions used by one high level guild in GvG. The 10 minion cap is needed; the damage output by minion masters was just stupidly high. Even with the cap they're probably the highest DPS character you can have in the party. Not to mention everyone runs them on their heroes so they must still be extremely good.

I would hate to think about the kind of skills that would have to be introduced to make other classes on-par with the old-school minion master that you want back.
... Now what is this nonsense about the casual gamer? Do you expect to enter a zone and wipe everything with ease? PvE is one thing and one thing alone; trial and error. The lack of randomization makes it this way. When you enter a new area, you don't have a clue about the skills the monsters are going to be using. If you die, repeatedly, you change your skillset to counter whatever was causing you to be wiped. I don't care how casual you are, if you get killed remember what it was that brought you down and then next time don't let it happen again. If you're not willing to adapt to an area and suffer a few deaths, you're being stubborn.
Running around with 60% DP and wondering why? It's not because the game is too hard, it's because you fail to understand the environment and its surroundings. You don't have to play the game religiously to pay attention when the going gets rough.
