Gaile...
Gaile... now this could be the start of something quite amazing...
We could raise our pets to have special mini skills...
And put them in battle against other pets...
Simple fun but it could be quite an exciting outlet in towns, cities and villages.
Players have no control over their pet... may the victor win!
You challenge a person's mini vs yours... a circle forms... the battle begins... the victor gets +10 faction and 1 mini token.
Lose a battle and lose 1 mini token...
The battle lasts about 60 seconds... and looks like a cat fight... distinct successful hits or misses are obvious... but you know
what a cat fight and fur flying time looks like...
Trade in 100 mini tokens for a new pet dye.... or a new pet attack or defense (+1)
Trade in 250 mini tokens and get a new mini ...
A title can come of this...
Win 100 mini-fights = Mini-Pit Fighter
Win 500 = Mini-Pit Gladiator
Win 1000 = Mini-Pit Warlord
(I wish I worked at Anet )

My mini rurik's battle stance seems to be him kinda crouching down, like when he's using a skill, mini siege turtle kinda wobbles in place, ready to fire, and mini jungle troll holds its arms down with palms facing forward, like he's ready to reach out and scratch you.
The mini warthog seemed to paw at the ground with his front leg and lean forward a bit as if headbutting, and I once saw it lift it's head like he was sniffing the air.
Sorry I didn't manage to get screenshots of any of this, they move around alot =p

Got pics of most of them, won't repost the ones already shown though. Here's Varesh. Hard to see, she sorta puts her head down and scythe out.
Love my Titan, he sort of puts his arms out like "What's up, you want some?" He's my fave. The turtle I couldnt get decent pics of sorry. I'll try again later.
I for one say Thanks Anet, it's cute and fun. Don't worry about the uber grumps, you can't please everybody all the time...or some people any of the time lol.

Yeah, because having a $60 expansion every 6 months isn't really a monthly fee

Lol. Pokemon does not hold some kind of copywrite on the concept of "batteling pets" otherwise the creators of Digimon and about a dozen other games/shows would be in trouble. Beyond that both his idea and Pokemon involve "battleing pets" there is not really any similarity.
It's a fun idea by the way. Other then trading in tokens for more mini's. That would just make them too easy to obtain.

Oh, not this old argument again! Anyting anyone would say to refute this has already been said. Use the search feature and prove yourself wrong.

Eh, course it's pointless. But it's fun. And no I don't want to play Pokemon, it's just a little bit of code that makes some people smile. What's wrong with that?
*Shameless Simpsons reference.

I care about this and obviously from other responses others do also. Everyone at ANET keep doing cool stuff like this and ignore people like him.

Nice little addition here
I for one am thankful to Anet for doin such an awsome job!
Prowlinger's idea would be awsome if u ask me, somthing to do when ur just chillin in a town or getting a party together, though as someone up above said getting tokens for more minis would kinda make them to easy to get, i would prefer they stay as a present of sorts for those that have been around for a while, or bought em .
