Looks like a cross between a Harry Potter Dobby and Piglet from Winnie the Pooh.
As for the GW2 matter (let's get back on topic about that. Stupid Asura threw us off topic!), the article said after Ch4 for there will be no more "major" chapters. That leaves room for mini things like expansions and events and big updates like SF.
GW has the potential to be running much longer than 2009. I still don't trust most of this article. Even with all the confirmations Gaile is giving us, I just want a flat out "GW2 = yes" or "GW2 = no".

How weary, stale, flat and unprofitable
Seem to me all the uses of this world!
Fie on't, ah, fie! 'Tis an unweeded garden,
That grows to seed, things rank and gross in nature
Possess it merely. That it should come to this.
(Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 2)
When I consider recent events, NCSoft's inadvertent revelation that the next release of Guild Wars won't be until the second half of 2007 with no preparation of the existing player base, the mangled scoop by "The Inquirer," and now this grotesquely cute refugee from a Star Wars film I wish I'd never seen, I find no way of escaping the creeping dread that I may have to find another MMORPG.
And where is there to turn? Vangard, Warhammer, World of Warcraft, Lineage II? Not.
In one his essays, J. R. R. Tolkien discusses the importance and value of treating Fantasy with high seriousness, (which does not preclude humour by the way). Peter Jackson understood the same thing in his development of "The Lord of the Rings" films. I perceived the same thing in Arenanet's first three chapters.
The gods preserve us from "Super Mario Crosses the Shiverpeaks."

I think the whole inquirer thing was probably something all hoaxed by A-Net you know? I mean back when the guessing was fresh weren't Anet the ones who set up www.guildwarsutopia.com and then later revealed that it was just a project name for an undeveloped project? I wouldn't pass anything pass those people in the devolpment team.
One of our moderators left a post saying something along the lines of e-mailing the dude of the Inquirer and getting a response as to he he/she had recieved an e-mail from on of the devolopers. Our moderator made a good point in saying that "Since when does Anet just give information to one source and not massal distributuion?" This could of been done purposly only to set us out on an even bigger guessing game than Guild Wars: Utopia...
Then again the he/she of the Inquirer could just be lieing. Then theres the other note that Gaile DID go out of her way to say "Some of the information is right, some of it is wrong and quite a bit of it is misleading." Why'd you go through all that to clear up some things instead of just unleashing all of what actually IS going on?
Back in Winterfest she also gave a hint about C4 taking place on a firigd continent and would becalled Binky's Spelling Adventure." Doesn't that sound like it could be a little right, a little wrong, and quite a bit misleading? I swear she totally seems like a Western Civilization college professor who just likes to leave riddle and hints just out of our grasp. My two cents is that she's actually ALWAYS letting information slip wether it's conditionally or unconditionally.
So going back to her play with words calling C4 "Binky's spelling adventure." ... a good deal of our members have been able to see the sublimial message of GUild Wars: Eye of the North = GWEN Could it of been that with the "spelling"part of her 'hint' she was actually conditionally/uncoditionally hinting at the fact that theres something with words going on with C4's project?
Then again I could be waaaaaaay out there and speculating about useless juk. I'm just saying I don't put anything past the development team...or anyone else wo works for Anet for that matter. I mean seriously check out Izzy how does he figure out how to balance skills like that?

Hmm...the one thing that bothers me the most is that the title doesn't match up.
Guild Wars (aka Guild Wars: Prophecies)
Guild Wars: Factions
Guild Wars: Nightfall
Guild Wars: Eye of the North
It just doesn't fit in to me.
Also...I can't find my copy atm, but didn't the Nightfall issue of PC Gamer list Anet's basic plans for new expansions?

Yeah, the name doesn't match.
It has to be Guild Wars: <one word describing a major plot device/aspect of the game>

They've announced their intended plans several times, none of these plans included the style by which they name the campaigns....

That's it, Kotetsu Rain, thanks!
Arenanet must have hired the infamous Sanjay, (Slings and Arrows, Season 2), to do their marketing. I'm going to Google him immediately to see if he's recently been released from prison.

And how brilliant would that be?
Instead of all the newer players pooh-poohing Prophecies as the Land without End Game Greens, it would suddenly be the promised land of presearing, broken flutes, tattered capes... Gwen's mother, alive...
Everyone would buy GW:P if they don't have it, and if they do have it, they'd buy another slot for a pre char.
Brilliant, Anet.

Yeah. As a Prophecies oldie I always hated the idea of people (or at least the ignorant type of people) buying Factions and/or Nightfall and being like "WTFBBQ!". And I'd hate if someone was like fighting the Lich from the Realm of Torment and being like "HAX WHO IS DAT GUY", leaving me to give a long-winded explanation.
Now us olde prophecies players get-eth the upper hande!

Times are hard when I start posting. I smell confusion brewing, and it's not a good smell. The new "little critter" is like a fever dream gone wrong, I'm not loving the rumors, and hey, where's the real break down of what's going on. Come on frog, talk.

Yep, it's called viral marketing. It's to build up speculation, discussion, and general interest in the future product. NCSOFT developers/staff/contractors would be under tight non-disclosure agreements regarding future product releases, and could easily be prosecuted if the "leak" was not sanctioned.

This is the freaking weirdest April fool's I ever did see.
.. Anyway, Zelda had the demi-human thing down perfect: Centaur, Elf, Goblin, Zoras (fish guy).
Who would rather play as a Skale than Jar Jar Bunny Binks?
*raises hand*
...
Of course if we actually get to KILL these creatures, and they only appear in one location in the entire game, then it's okay. I think. Maybe.
I am scared. Someone hold me.

No, no...sorry if that came out wrong, I was in a different thought by then, it wasn't related to the name thing at all.
I meant that in the article, if I remember correctly, they stated how they planned to do expansions...Ugh, I wish I could find it...It said something about the number of expansions they planned to put out and such.

That's called making a "joke". Chapter 4 being in Antarctica and called "Binky's Spelling Adventure" are two of Gaile's running jokes, much like the rank 15 emote being of a gerbil.
