Honestly I think she was rescued by one of the new civilizations. Then they raised her to keep her safe from harm; that’s until we come along.

I would also assume that she developped some brain malfunction, like a suicidal desire for vengeance, and that your character will have to attempt to prevent it, but ultimately fail as she'll self-sacrifice against the great villain.

I think i found out how she survives! gwen must have escape through the catacombes and the catacombes must let out around the places were we find the various gwen items!

also shes got to be around 20 or so by the time GW:EN comes out.

it makes sense if gwen used the catacombs/tunnels under the maps,

i mean gwen items appeared in tyria and elona, and there were not any in cantha being on a whole other bit of land
