I think that's just it Jaythen, that there is this huge dopey sort of look we've seen in recent years, with all the characters you named, and it just doesn't fit for Guildwars considering how they always have tried to have a unique appeal.

I mean, South Africa ?! Lol?! Where's Spain and Portugal? We also have lots of game magazines, and I'm sure they wouldn't refuse that...

Why belittle a country like that!? South Africa has almost 5 times as many ppl as Portugal. I hate how ppl make condescending statements like that and get away with it. And why cry about a mini pet!? And South Africa invented the cat, also due to our low budget nuclear testing (we are soon gonna take over the world, I think soon after the release of GW2, it depends on what ANET have planned for the weekend after release....obviously) are also partly responsible for the existence of Asurians

Now, I don't want to be one that jumps on the "GW is doomed because or reason X" bandwagon. However, I would say that the char by it self (design/ looks) doesn't bother me or give me the feeling of a crazy or goofy sidekick. By example, yes, I can agree with yours and others concerns on HOW the Asura might be incorporated into the GW universe.
IF the goofy sidekick role is partaken, it could be a negative aspect.
It might be positive aspect too!
Outside of a few good joke worthy quests or moments, the GW story by way of primary quests has been on a serious track (this is regular content not Holiday events/weekend events) and we could use a bit of a break from that seriousness if it were more a bit laid back...just a bit..not alot.
Guess the answers will be mostly here tomorrow.

Indeed it will.
I don't know, I'm just highly concerned that this game will dub up on something like the Asura and not be able to recover from it. That, and this is the only game I play (since it's very hard for me to find a really good game that can keep me (ADD) interested in it for long periods of time like it has), so I sort of have a concern of interest in all of this more then some! :P

Outpost of Monsters?
That article in the enquirer, it made me think. It said Char along with the rest right? Well if Asura aer supposedly demonic, why cant Chapter 4 or GW2 be like City of Villans, the company made that too. I know it would be ripping it off a little, but that would still be cool.

Yes, you were only able to get one gray giant last time (even if you enter many codes), so I would assume same rules will apply now.
Anyone know when PCGamer is going to be available?

Uhh... I may have misunderstood what you meant, but that's not false info. It's the May issue, on shelves on April 3.

Now that we know Nightfall is the end of the trilogy, i wonder what direction/theme is GW2 heading. GW1, ie Prophecies, factions and nightfall's theme is like the knights and sorcerers in against nature and other races. I hope they do not deviate from this successful theme and create a game that pits cutesy against cutesy. that would be maple story... that would be sad...

Just like I said on my last post, which apparently was deleted*, it was not in a defamatory way. (yet once again) If they say Europe and US I expect to see exactly what they announce.

Well you should start doing it, then. Also, even if they include, as usual, Europe on something similar, Portugal is never there, so, that comment doesn't change my mind.
