I just realized. The farming nerf is all my fault. I'm really sorry! I bring nerfs the moment I start liking something! It's a well established pattern by now!

A while ago, I decided to switch my Mesmer from SS to the domination nuker with Energy surge and Spiritual pain. I tried it for about 5 minutes in Fort Aspenwood, decided I really liked it, my mesmer was finally doing something instead just reacting, and went to bed. Two days later, Anet radically altered the skills, removing the build from the game.

Another time, I decided Flesh golem on my Heroes was not being used properly by the heroes and decided to give the heroes something to do when there are no corpses around (like the start of the mission). I went, capped Icy veins, and simply replaced the golem with it. My Heroes worked much better after the change. Two weeks, and Anet decides to double the energy cost, so the skill could no longer be recast continually.

Two days ago, a friend introduced me to the idea of dual farming with Junundu worms. I liked it, since it would allow me to clear out the monolith temple in the desolation, and I just got my hopes up that I'd finally get the inscribed shards I need to complete that $"&%# quest in the Bone palace (out of sheer sense of completeness). Two days, the method is gone.

Now, I'm not sure about feigned neutrality, but when making my Mesmer (my second character), I was thinking about making him a Me/A and going for that IW+feigned neutrality+deadly paradox build, since it seemed to survive quite well. I even found an Oni blade I thought would look nice on my mesmer - and feigned neutrality got hit. I don't know how Anet pulled that one off, since I was just THINKING about it, but they did.

Me, I can deal with it, I'll adapt and just switch to another build (My mesmer will return to SS or go for a nice fire or earth secondary class, or maybe I'll try to survive the few seconds difference in deadly paradox, and I'll be capping Jagged bones today, most likely).

But I'm really really sorry this has hit the rest of you. I didn't mean it. I really didn't!

P.S. Anyone selling inscribed shards?

Can we please have more farming nerf threads? The other 5 just werent enough for me....

The idea is to run something completely stupid that will not work at all. The they won't nerf your builds.
