grr Im not hardcore.. infact I maybe get to play gw for say 30 min a day on average on school nights. I HAVE a life outside gaming. However, in that time I might be able to do some RAs TAs or farm a couple areas. This update hits me square in the balls. Not that Im going to quit over it, but it has removed something pretty fun from the game for me.

Certainly not true!

I solo farm when I need gold to aquire certain items only.

This will just make those that are poor stay poor. How can someone now afford to equip themselves and a bunch of Heroes?

This update makes no sense to me at all. It will make no difference to me, maybe UW solo, but for many players this maybe the final nail in the coffin with regards to GW.

this is my fianl nail...and all others who think the same should speak up. I'm going to give Anet some time but if they choose not to act in the smartest way then I will leave this game I have poured time and money into and ask my friends to do the same...and that also includes no GWEN and no GW2.

My heroes use major runes and /bonus weapons from the bonuspack (now available via PlayNC store) which I can create indefinitely on all characters and for every hero. My armor costs 1,5k per piece + materials.

THAT'S how you're supposed to quip your heroes!

I tried with them Back at the zone, solo, and with them barely on my radar so their names were white, I got the same results every time.

Well they've really done it this time. I feel like such an idiot for believing Gaile Gray et al these last few years saying they'd never do this. Can't wait to hear the spin version. ANET seem to be missing the whole point about this being a game that's meant to be fun. They've nerfed or removed everything that I enjoyed about the game since i started playing. If you buy GWEN or GW2 after this you're a moron. Can't trust anything they say anymore. Given this latest broken promise do they really expect anyone to believe it when they say "we'll support guild wars after GW2 is launched". Yeah right. Save your money.
