I would love to go back in another chapter and take on the Charr in their homeland and then rebuild Ascalon. Perhaps a final confrontation with a Charr King and his various layers of underlords, etc.

I would like to see Pre-searing accessible somehow. I enjoyed that part of the game immensely and only left because I was out of quest to do in Pre-searing and I was not about to farm if I did not have to.
If you do not mind, I am going to off topic for a moment, Cottage Pie said that there should be No Noobs in that area. Please let me remind you, you were once a noob, and frankly, despite playing all three of the games for over 6 months (Nightfall exempted of course), in many ways I am still a Noob, cause I do not like to play all the time and spend all my time playing. So please, instead of insulting newer players, help them become better players. Once again, sorry for going off topic.

You mean you're not 16-17 by the time you hit up LA? Did you like miss every quest or something?

Just a thought on this. What if they created a seperate copy of presearing for high level characters. I mean one that would be seperate from the actual noob area. That way our level 20s arent interfering with the low level folks.
I think it would be possible to get there without time travel. What if you had an NPC in Old Ascalon who offered you a "serum" that would make you hallucinate about how life in ascalon used to be. You buy the serum, and as soon as you drink it you start "hallucinating" (ie. get teleported to) the new seperate Ascalon City. The same guy is in AC offering serums to send you back to the "real world".
Since its a seperate instance, the areas could be expanded to include serenity temple, grendich, sumria, rin, nolani, and all the other places we discover in post. Since you need access to the serum guy to get there, it could be sold as a small expansion (ie. you can only buy the serum after you own the expansion) to pay off the development of it.
Waddya think?

Pre sear was just so nice to look at and made me have a better feeling irl while playing there. I didn't like the asain ghetto of factions and looking at nothing but SAND for endless hours in NF is old and one of the short comings of the game. I think pre sear is a lot like typical landscape where i live at in the US and would love to see a game with that design.
I like the variety of landscape in Tyria, I hope they go back to that quality standards again and not something like a North pole theme where EVERTHING is snow

Thats actually an interesting an intelligent marketing idea. It would attract alot of players and sell really well. OF course it would have to have a very low price compared to a full campaign, but it could work...OR even better it would be free (with requirements, eg, the completion of Prophecies)

My first character was about 14 when she hit LA. That's doing every mission, primary quest and some side-quests/exploring. If you only do missions+primary, I think you'll get there at about 11.
Presearing expansion? I dunno. I loved presearing the first time I was in it... I actually bothered to do quests and read the dialogue... characters seemed to have depth, to be a part of the world. Everybody had their little errands to run, not staging grand battles and killing uberdemonsofpwnage. You could find a lot of neat little things... and I'm sure there are things I've never found. Never been north of the wall, for example.
But I think most of that can be attributed to just playing the game for the first time. I tried to stay in pre again with another character much later, but got bored at level 8 or so.
I think expanding pre to include all of ascalon and having tougher enemies in remote areas (lvl 16 bosses or so) would be cool. I'm not sure I'd pay for just that, though.
