I don't think these "rollbacks" were cause by the event, I wasn't set back so there must be something in common between all of these "rollbacks".

I think it is cool that they combined these 3 things into the weekend (even though I would've prefered it to go longer

), I don't see it as a "botch" job.

It seems we have 3 people (don't know about Goast) who were set to away or DND when this rollback happened.

If anyone else got rolledback, and you're going to post info, please tell what your status was set to.

The bar's for the titles are set so damn high that the only way to max them out is to afk. Anet probably knows this, and they most likely don't care. No reason for them TO care, really.

A couple of guildie's got rolled, but they'd afked all night and untill 3:00 today. So, I can only assume that if you're afk for extended periods of time, then you will be rolled by a glitch. I dunno.

Happened to me too:

Character Name: Lauren Swiftfoot
Territory: American
Map: Shing Jea (unfortunately I don't recall exact dis)
What Changed: Went to bed around 11PM EST (Friday) with Lauren parked on the rings. I'd bought several stacks of tickets. Recorded her wins/losses so I could compare in the morning. Woke up and checked around 7:20AM (Saturday). Game was on the character select screen with no error message. Selected Lauren, checked her titles to see how things had gone, and was surprised to find that the win/loss numbers were LOWER than the ones I'd recorded. Not only that, she had NO tickets in her inventory, but she did have all the gold she'd spent on the tickets. Also, she'd taken a stack of tickets out of storage before I parked her. Those tickets were back in storage. My status was set to "Away" overnight.

my guild leader was also there with me when it happen. He was i believe set to away as well. A few other people from my alliance were there, but 2 out of the 3 alliance members were not set to away, they were set to online.

Did those people get kicked off and reset back, the people who had their status set to online?

* What changed -- a loss of tickets? title gains? XP? Sold items reappeared? : Progress toward the Lucky and Unlucky titles, as well as the amount of tickets in inventory, were reset to about what they were when I entered the district.
* Time (with time zone) and Date: I left the computer at about 4:30 AM (EST) Saturday and got back at about 1:30 PM to find myself on the character select screen.
* Any other details you'd like to provide: My status was set to Online as I didn't think to change it.

yes, we were all in Shing Jea dis 1, and we all got rolled back.

Any other details you'd like to provide: First thing I did when I logged in was take out 100K from storage and spent it all on tickets, then went and sat on the rings. I gained a level in the unlucky title and had gone to over 150K in the lucky title. I was actually near the computer when it happened, noticed that I was back at the character select screen, not logged out completely, just at the character select screen. I selected the same character, opened up my inventory and saw I had no tickets. Checked my titles and they had been set back to exactly what they were at before I had started playing on Friday. Went to storage and (thankfully) the 100K I had withdrawn was back in there. All I lost was time, which while unfortunate, is not the end of the world.

i afked all but mabye an hour and a half, in which i was talking with guildies, trading, ect.i did log off for a bit just in case for about 5 min every 5 hours.

so yes i was mostly afking the rings(rings of fortune but i highly doubt that matters, but ya never know) aaaaand i made sure i was in dis 8 because i had not experienced problems while in it.

Bought 20 tickets and stood in a corner circle on the cheap ring game.
I got disconnected twice before ever losing those orignal tickets,losing progress
on the lucky/unlucky titles, but regaining the gold I used to buy those tickets plus
1 candy corn tonic I used while standing inside my ring.

This was after midnight central time

I tried changing districts after the second disconnect and got the rollback on dist 11
also.
The npc is running the game just fine. People are winning and losing.
I was not AFK. My status was online. I was actively talking with people

I was set to offline when this happened - got booted, error007, logged back in. I DIDN'T lose any progress, but noticed that when I logged back in a lot of people were mentioning it.

i think i read someone said they werent afk when this happened somewhere in these pages. Cant confirm it atm though. but ill check.

Edit: i cant find it lol. coulda sworn i saw it but it might have been my eyes playing tricks on me.

I was not technically AFK, but I wasn't looking at the screen with GW on it when it happened. I had the screen minimized at the time. I had checked the game about 10 minutes before I saw that I was back at the character select screen.

ill go ahead and repost my info in a nice bullet form for ease of reading:

* Character Name: Artherius Roade
* District(s) and/or Maps in which this happened: Shing Jea Monastery, American district AD25
* What changed: i warped into the shing jea. i went to the board walk and purchased ~15k worth of tickets, leaving me with 5g only on my toon. then i stood in one of the corner rings of the 9 ring game. i checked in every couple of hours to check my progress/make sure i still i had enough tickets. my title had increased around 23,000 tickets won from about 9,000 at the start to around 32,000. i still had plenty of tickets left, so i turned the monitor off and went to sleep. why i came back in the morning, i was logged out the the char select screen. when i logged back on the toon in question, i had no tickets in my inventory, had 15k on my toon, and the title was back to just below 9,000 tickets won.
* Time (with time zone) and Date: went afk around 2:00 AM EST early saturday morning. came back to find the character select screen around 11:00 AM EST.
* Any other details you'd like to provide: my status was set to Away at the time.
