I deserve the right to complain, AT's were 5 months late. So I reserve the right to complain about delays. If Anet said that the skills are being worked on, then they're being worked on.

BS? Even though they have a great game and do great things with it they still are in fact late on quite a few things and not informing their customers. At this point I'd be happy for a simple "Things are taking longer than expect, we don't have an estimate time that the skills will become available."

If Gaile chooses not to post here anymore because her feelings got hurt she needs to do 1 of 2 things.
1. Grow thicker skin and put on a fake smile (if she didn't know that there would be criticisms to what people didn't agree with and that sometimes it would be misdirected at her, the "Voice of Anet", she apparently doesn't fully understand the ins and outs of her job).
2. Find something else to do. You can't be the medium between a company and it's customers and then just not post on one of the sites because a couple of people got rowdy. Either stop posting all together or treat the sites equally.

totally agree, Smile. If she can't hack it in *this* job, she needs to be a librarian or something, where there are *zero* challenges and *zero* stress (I apologize if I've offended any librarians here, it's just the first thing that popped in my head).

Point is: she has (had?) a pretty good job doing something many fanboys dream of, and she had to know what some of the challenges would be (ie, people like me). But come on......if she can't hack it doing this cupcake of a deal, she needs to get out of an industry where it only gets harder as you get into the production side of things.

Tell me you're not used to it happening by now... people should have known when HM came out that "a few hours" would mean 3 hours before 12AM pacific, because it's always happened like that before.

I think she is just disappointed at how ungrateful the community is. Ever have kids (or even young siblings) that are completely ungrateful of everything you (or your parents) do? You do everything you can for them, and all they want is more.

Gaile doesn't deserve the bashing, she is only CR. It is expected, however, and you have every right to do it. And they have every right to give you nothing, tell you nothing, and break all contact between player and company.

ArenaNet is a company, and a company needs to make money. Do you think it would benefit them more to release Hard Mode with Nightfall or use NF to keep your attention for 6(?) months and then include HM? Same goes for Sunspear skills and other updates (ATS, for example).

Just curious, have you any experience in the Gaming industry? Do you even know what the full spectrum of her job entails? I don't mean any disrespect, but you sound like a 15 year old that has absolutely no concept of the job and industry you are speaking of (I apologize if I've offended any 15 year old people here, it's just the first thing that popped in my head).

I had an opportunity to meet her at a pre-release event. I can assure you any Fanboy cannot do the job she does.
I guess its just assumed that Anet must have somekind of contractual obligation to answer all and any questions the community may ask, quelm any uneasyness or supposed demands from whiny/ignorant ranters.

Its time like these, I'm glad the game is in the hands of capable professionals and not know-it-all clueless 'fans'.

QFT, Exactly what I was getting at. There are arguments that I agree with, and some that I don't- that I see daily on this forum. I've seen both come from people that put them forth in a reasonable manner, and also that whine about them like 2 year olds. I respect people that are reasonable in their arguments, even if I don't agree with them. There's a huge difference.

yup. people demand to have info from her, and at the same time they want to flame her to no end for what ever she says or doesnt say. You can't shoot the messenger here and still want info.

I mean how many of you people have jobs where you have to talk to customers all day? im sure youd know that alot of people are stupid and/ or yell at you for things that arnt even your fault.
