What I just don't understand is how you come you didn't explain that in detail on your e-mail to Anet support. I know if I was to find out my account was banned I would extensively explain what I had been doing or might have done that could be mistaken to a bot but weren't, and all I see on the e-mail is you saying that you are not a bot. Honestly that's suspicious imo.

Also, for the OP, maybe you ought to consider just how much can you know someone in-game. No matter how much of a great guy someone might seem to be, you can never know what they might be hiding. You are blaming Anet assuming they wronged, but maybe you oughta think if it was not your friend who wronged. How much do you really know about him?

Ban a bot-farmer's account, and they go out and buy a new one and carry on like nothing happened.

Ban a normal, human player's account... and do you honestly think they will shell out the cash to replace it AND invest the time to regain everything they lost... probably over the course of a year or two? ...

Banning isn't half as serious a punishment for those actually botting as it is for those who aren't.

My account was banned for a couple hours, and I pretty much got the same reply. What was confusing was that I was on my warrior and I was just running around in ToA and dancing. Very strange that I got banned. After I sent a ticket, they were able to fix it pretty quickly. It was actually pretty funny, hehe.

How many threads, how many posts, how many of you demand that Anet ban bots?

Real people will get banned. This is gonna happen. This is a reality. Its unavoidable. No anti-bot system is perfect. Jeeze.

He got the account back right? At most he got inconvenienced and annoyed.

Learn something, Arena Net.

I'm starting to become really afraid of playing this game. I even thought about selling my account so I wont lose my "investment".

I wish I knew early then what I know today...

There are so many of these threads, and the lesson is the same;

If you are banned without legitimate reason, force Anet to pay attention to your appeal by contacting support and not giving up.
