I've made nearly 2 million since hardmode by merchanting 80% of my golds and selling the rest of the good golds real cheap. 10k for r9 x scimitars while people were selling them for 100k+1000ecto's etc etc.. Those people stand in cities spamming there for hours and hours for 1 item, while I just continued farming till i got like a storage full of +30hp mods and sell em all in like 20 minutes.

I've started to just sell everything to the merchant. It's easier than holding my breathe waiting for a better player-to-player system.

as some have said, this is a buyers market... every time anything like this happens it becomes one... yes i too am having trouble selling... ecto prices r stuck low, so ppl dont want to sell / buy high end items... golds flood the market, all chaos breaks loose.... this is how i have always made my money, and still continue... some ppl have high end items and no money, so those ppl r selling for cheap... ecto is cheap so most ppl wont buy 100k+ items because they dont want to fork over 10 ecto when it use to be 5 ecto.... so i buy at 7 ecto or less... yes, at this moment i may loose alittle money, but let the market even out then i can easily resell it.....

Yes i hate that so many items have flooded the market, but no, i wont waist all day spamming to sell the same item all over everywhere, if i get no hits on a few spams, move to a different item.... if i see a low price, i will buy.....

This happens every time anything new comes out, yes HM hit alot harder then most expected.... Anet will surely nerf things back, adjust drop lvls, and market will lvl out again.... just have to suffer threw the low times to hit it big on the high times....

And as i have always said, since day 1 of the game, best investment is high end / rare items... that is how i always have, and still, keep alot of money in my pocket...
