The Asura look hilarious, all the spiky hair and headdresses
I like the one in the middle with the semi-bucket helmet

I wonder why Asura are full-size instead of being ewok-size!

Without a human next to them to provide scale, for all we know they are "Ewok-size."
Like most here, I think everything looks great for GW:EN. I doubt they'll release the information I'm interested in until the game is about to reach shelves (or maybe not until after its release), but it's nice to see more information released slowly as the game comes closer to our grasp.
I would like to get a better glimpse of Sylvari also, but they might even go ahead and save that for those who complete GW:EN.
That Assassin armour looks okay. It's nice to get an idea of what the Assassins profession looks like as it spreads into Tyrian cultures, but I like to imagine any Tyrian armours that may be added to the profession will be a bit more unique. I definitely agree that it's nice to see that aNet's design team has moved off their exaggerated blade binge though (!).
While the Norn is quite a welcome sight, I'm not quite as excited about it as everyone else seems to be -- but to each his own. Absolutely love the new Charr designs though!
Also: The Asura in the center with the fez looks like the recent Asura minipet to me.

Awesome, looks sweet all round. I'm hoping for a heretic char warrior hero. Him and Koss, now that would be cool. Yup, join up furball, and we'll go chop up them there char shamans
And I'm hoping we get a norn warrior hero too. I'd make him a W/E. Slap a hammer on there, and earth shaker, stoneflesh aura and dolyaks. Great bodyblocker, crowd control. Maybe he could even use aftershock
Though maybe any weapons put on him might get scaled up, cause it's not going to look too cool if he's that big and he's using weapons that are normal sized. Hell, half the weapons look too small on some warriors already, let alone someone that size. Still, was hoping for a female warrior hero, so I'm conflicted
Anyway, the lore would suggest plenty of scope for missions and quests, and I'll definately be looking forward to GWEN's release.

My only fear is that the Asura will turn out like Jar-Jar Binks.
If that happens I will drown myself.

You know, I always wonder where do the half-giants come from? I mean they can't just turn up out of thin air, right? There got to be a mom and a dad in order to make a little half-giant. But was it female human and a male giant? Or was it other way round? Here's a guy who likes his lady big "are they big? I like 'em big!".
Yeah...anyway they gotta be really drunk to be able to y'know....get together. Boy! that must be some party.

Well the gods could have made them half human and half giant after all they did create all the races. Perhaps one day they had too much dwarven ale and decided to play a game of "What do u get if u cross....."

Not sure where you got that one from, but I know Terry Pratchett's dwarves ALL have beards... irrespective of gender... ^_~
For the record though... I'm not impressed.
The Charr look even more ridiculous than ever. They are so bodily imbalanced that they could never realistically stand upright without totally toppling over (plus more detail has been put into their facial features than their legs and feet if you care to look). The issue I initially had with Charr having bone-spikes coming out of their shoulders (which could be blamed on nothing but really bizarre selective breeding) has become more aggravated.... with more spikey bits all over the place now.
The Asura look totally silly... and are probably going to be the nasty bad-guys of GW:EN ....
That "new assassin" armour looks... well.... like some gymnast who slipped and got a few cuts, then had to wrap them up. The abundance of swords are as unnecessary as the old spikes... but honestly the guy just doesn't look the part in any case.... neither stealth-wise nor impressive-wise.
And if we don't get at least one Mursaat hero... (we won't be able to play as Mursaat... I know that much)... I'm going to be disappointed. Afterall... the Mursaat were the misunderstood anti-heroes of prophecies... and I'd rather back the White Mantle than those p!ssy-pants zombie-hugging Shining Blade any day.
... Well... if it weren't for the zealots. IWAY annoys the crap outta me.
C'moooonnnnn A-Net .... Let me play a Mursaat!
Or a seer! ^_^
There isn't enough love for the Seers.... no lore at all; just "woo, I hate mursaat" crap.
Nor the ancients... the first race...
