I'm not so sure about that. Back when Kunnavang fist came out as a mini pet there was this guy that would sell them to me way way cheaper than what the "market" price was, and I would just have to ask him to buy one. I think I bought like 5 off of him then he said he didn't want to sell to me anymore for whatever reason. But he claimed his friend knew how to dupe items. He knew they went for more, but still sold me some when I asked.

They are destroying much for both n00bs and "semin00bs" like me. I Play GW because its fun, but right now I dont find it fun anymore.

I've take contact with anet, anf have reported the scam, but I was to late to take any screenshots, so I guess all my saving is gone.

As you see I was not trying to cheat or anything like that, was just trying to raise money for a mini Kuunavang.
And there is a couple of thing you can do for me, keep on playing fair and square (which I'm assuming you do.)
and if you ever see this guy (whos name I'm not allowed to say) kick him in the balls for me

Damn, for once a person who actually got scammed!

I got scammed by an assassin. Asked me to drop an axe on the ground, used return on me and grabbed my axe. It was a gold req 13, so i was like w/e but i applauded him and it gave me a nice laugh. Don't ever trade with any1 outside that is an assassin primary or secondary. It's FTL! LoL.

*Zoning out of town, away from storage and merchs
*Dropping items weapons in the first place... oh god why would you ever need to do that.

I nearly got scammed by some dude in ToA, he was advertising to buy ecto and shards. I opened my trade up and put 4 shards and 2 ectos in and PMed him to say that it was 21K (according to his prices).

He put 21g into the trade screen... So I laughed and PMed him a "lol" and said that it was K not G!!! He closed the trade screen and continues to spam WTB...

So I called him in all chat and some other dude in there PMed me and went to test and tried the same thing, he put in 2 ectos and the dude put in 11g!!! LOL... I was waiting for Euro to win 1 more battle for favour, so I sat there spamming that he was a scammer, Funny thing is, he never PMed me or got cross or left or anything, he just kep spamming...

1st clue - A lvl 1 E/W in ToA... :O
2nd clue - his name was something like kdajfff askdjfh or summink (This is not his exact name)

I was quiet chuffed that I got me a scammer, hehehehe... :P

The moral of the story, when trading:
1. BE PATIENT!!! Examine everything, especially if the offer it modified!!! Hover your mouse over to make 100%
2. Trade like you supposed to, in town in a trade screen!!! Don't trade outside by dropping items stuff, that's like giving someone your bank account pin and tellnig them to go draw the money you owe them.
3. Come here and use marketwatch if you not sure of somethings price
4. Lastly, and it sucks to have to say this 1, but be suspicious about EVERYONE who trades with you!!! if you are on the lookout for scams every time, you will be more likely to pick them up...

My favorite was a guy spamming WTS Shard for 2.5k (which was cheap at the time) in ToA who offered a Jadite Shard (which was worth like 250g at the time).
