My favorite to play as is warrior. Just like to be able to run in there and hack'n'slash. Second favorite is Monk. Like to heal too.

They can actually be pretty awesome tanks if they know how to. Sadly, most don't know how to.

No matter what game type, all other classes are disposable..except monk. Monk is really the only class that you NEED in pvp/pve, in most cases.
Is that a good or a bad thing?

Just because they keep me alive doesn't mean they're a favourite by a long shot.

Dervish hands down. I love the profession. Lots of juggling of enchants and high damage skills. Makes me feel like I'm actually doing something.

I hate naruto but i love the assassin in gw for two reasons. The style of play while looking awesome activating skills. And just the aura of teleporting, killing, and getting the job done the fastest. Not that its in my own nature of conducting myself... or something... :P

It was really close between monk and ranger. I really have a LOT of fun when I play Ranger and every time I play it it's a rewarding experience. This is not always true of when I monk.

However, when playing monk becomes rewarding, it is extremely rewarding. Voted Monk. Plus, everyone knows me by my monking over my rangering.

Nah if everything goes right, then heals are rarely ever needed but when it goes wrong that's when you know if you have a good monk or a bad one. In PvE I get bored if everything goes too well and the party rarely needs heals but when there's a wrong pull or an accidental aggro then it's fun time for me. PvP I'm usually being targeted so I stay busy, so no complaints there!

So think of your monks! Take dmg! Bring frenzy! (this rule does not apply to pvp)

Busy monk = happy monk (well for me anyways)

You're telling people to suck at the game, on purpose.

No, she's pointing out the difference between good monks and bad ones. Good monks can conserve energy well and know when to heal and when not to, and generally can keep the party up through pretty much anything. The frenzy bit was an exaggeration, which you should've realized. (Although, I have brought it into RoT without a cancel stance before, and not died a single time, with a certain monk's support <3). With the right monks in your backline, you can pull bigger mobs and clear areas much faster, compared to mediocre/poor ones who need pauses every few seconds for regen. To those good monks, it's more fun when they're actively healing large spikes or damage spread across the party, and boring when hardly anyone's taking damage.

Actually, i love when all goes well because then i can just kick back in my chair and listen to music while i leech drops and run around in circles, It's like they farm for me . But sometimes being busy is fun, Just not always for me since I'm so lazy.

She said it's fun when she has to heal a lot.
She said when things go smoothly, she doesn't need to heal a lot, hence it's not fun.

Is there some sort of sarcasm I'm not detecting? Sarcasm is impossible to spot out on the Guru.

Add: Yeah I'm seeing this at a completely different angle. Game over, man.

Err... no? I also play monk, albeit less frequently than warrior or ranger. Yes, it's boring when there's no healing to be done. A monk who isn't healing is nothing more than a leech. It'd be the same as playing a warrior with no enemies to kill. Wouldn't that be easy, yet boring? More fun when there's more to do. I enjoy the fast pace of a frantic battle with large numbers of enemies, and despise mobs with few, easily killed monsters. It's the same for her on monk, she likes to heal and hates boring fights in which nobody takes damage, 'cause she has nothing to do.

Worded confusingly 'cause it's like 2 am, but I hope you grasp the concept now.

Warrior is my favourite, as it's my main character. My other most used character is my Elementalist, so Warrior then Ele are my favourite, and then probably Paragon or Dervish or something.

Necromancer (a.k.a. Necro):
I'm a shadow-dwelling slender carnivorous humanoid, with a scary gaze and obviously a loathing towards physical work-out
... and the same counts for a Necromancer too.

Monk, Necro or Ele. Any of these three professions are equal to me, and you're almost always guaranteed a team!

My favorite depends on my mood.

My War was my first character(2 years old tomorrow!) and it's still fun to get out front and chop away.

My healer's responsible for about 500 of the 1350 hours I've played. Before heroes I'd regularly have a join invite before I was even fully loaded into a mission town.

Ele is what I've been playing the last few weeks. She was semi-retired, but I've discovered the joys of leading a 3-searing flame-ele team. It's a Huge cannon, but tricky; you have to set the baddies up like bowling pins to get the biggest bang. Mobs scattered amongst you mean a quick retreat or quick death.

Ranger and necro are both flexible and fun, but they're my 2nd-tier guys.
I dabbled with the rest, but they haven't really held my interest.
