Are you kidding? We did a forgemaster run with 5 heroes in less than 30 mins on the last time I did FoW :-/

Graphically I find Obsidian to look outdated.
I'll see it on someone and only think 'wow, they spent a lot of time getting that', but never think 'hey, that look's cool'. Because I don't think Ob armour looks cool anymore. It did once though.
I'm hoping Obsidian armour gets an aesthetic revamp sometime.

eh.... never really had much awe for obsidian. its just a grind to get it, and it doesn't look that great...
vabbian, on the other hand, is pretty cool. or Primeval even has more respect to me than FoW (except for the elementalist twig armor, lol... in that case, vabbi and ancient take it)

Did you have teams that were going down there specifically for the armor or to do other quests? Did they know what they were doing?

yeah yeah, ppl will keep saying "FoW armor never meant nothing to me" but i recall the stir there was in deldrimor warcamp when some Mo and Necro in their FoWs came around. Of course back then ectos weren't 4.5k a piece...

Even in HM its quite doable, 2/3monks, 1 para 4/5 sf i dont recall the exact configuration, but we just went in hardmode by accident, and didnt want to give it up

I don't like the look of Obsidian Armor. IMO, Templar looks better. Thats good because Templar costs oodles less.

When I first got FoW armor back in 2005 I'd get a lot of comments on it. I don't play as much necro these days, but when I do I still get the occassional comment. From my end though, I don't really think anything when I see other people with FoW. The game has been out a while now, after all. I don't assume they're rich either, because I'm certainly not. I'm like that guy who drives a Mercedes *AMG and can barely afford his rent because of it. I farm on an as needed basis, because it's so boring
