Default Mesmer and SR changes June 7th update.

Hmm the description of Soul reaping has changed I think..

For Each point in SR, you gain 1 energy whenever a creature near you dies. You may only gain energy in this way 3 times every 15 seconds, You only gain energy from Spirits you control..

Be interesting to see how it plays out. For example if 3 things die within 5 seconds, you'll have 10 seconds to go before getting any more.

Seem to help SS Necs in PvE maybe

And hot news Some mesmer interupts now affect Shouts and chants. Power block is now super evil. Power leak, return and spike all seem to do the same thing.
FC now also affects signets.

Still Going thru the list tho..

Thats Us fixed in PvE then.

Update - Thursday June 7
Bug Fixes

* Fixed a bug that prevented players from entering a Challenge Mission in Hard Mode.
* Removed inaccurate changes to several skill and attribute descriptions.


Miscellaneous

* To prevent exploitation of the Nightfall starter quests "Take the Shortcut", "Rally the Recruits", and "Never Fight Alone", the gold rewards for those quests were reduced to 25, and the reward for the starter quest "Honing your Skills" was increased to 250 gold to compensate.

Bug Fixes

* Fixed a bug in Fort Aspenwood that allowed the Warriors to be lured away from their destination.


Miscellaneous

* Made additional preparations for the Alliance Battle weekend event.
* Removed an incorrect +5 Energy Bonus that was added to General Morgahn's Primeval Leggings.

through in-game observations, I assume

3 times every 15 seconds? thats even worse! if it triggers 3 times while you're at full energy just before you unleash all your spells, you're out of luck for a while!

LOL @ Anet... it took them 2 months + to come up with this garbage for soul reaping? Lets see... if gaining nrg 1 time every 5 seconds wasnt good, lets try it 3 times every 15 seconds.. HAHAHAH.

It's rocket scientry I tell u... absolute rocket scientry! What will NASA do now that Anet has hired all their great minds to come up with a fix for soul reaping. LMFAO!

Something else new. You cant go into HM in challenge missions, which makes Vanquishing Arborstone interesting(I.e you cant unless you use the corpse explot). Has to be a bug

It says it interupts spells and chants. It says nothing about shouts.

I think it's there to prevent places like FA from being bugged.

I expect it to be fixed soon.

I have seen some interupts now affect chants as well, but nowhere have I seen interupts for shouts (but I have not checked all skills). Shouts are pretty much instantaneous anyway.

Shouts are instantaneous, you can even do a shout when knocked down.

Okay, rant over. It's "okay", but take out the "every 15 seconds" thing. No one asked for the 5 second thing, and will never really agree to that. Also, seeing as how Necros do not have any Spirits to summon from their line, it's a little bit too obviously pointed to PvP. I realize there are N/Rt's running around, but if you want to hit PvP, check out Ensign's Wishlist.

That's the most reasonal explanation, unless they don't want people farming points/etc in Hard Mode. In which case, lame.

Glad it fixed FA though, 26 Turtles was no fun.

Before anyone flips out, Soul Reaping is still on a 5 second timer. I just went to test this in Tasca's Demise with an FoC spike build. Its still on its crap nerf functionality.

It's not bye paragons, as realistically you cannot interrupt shouts with 0 cast time. Chants were just icing.

BTW, I'm not understanding the SR change.
