One person in our team in AB wasn't showing up on my skill bar, but they were on my other team mates' bars. Usually it shows their bar as black, but it just wasn't there for me.
Also, alliance battle happened really quickly! The timer seemed to jump from 60 second victory to 5 second victory in a second (no lag). Was a little freaked out.

Ah thanks for clearing that up. I do slightly recall that the chat was restricted to officers ad the leaders only. I personally would welcome the change, trash-talk is all too apparent nowdays.
Back to the topic at hand, it happened again to me, it usually happens righ after an Alliance Battle, which is difficult to get around since AB is one of the only things left to do nowdays.
I also noticed that my game sometimes refuses to load the AB outpost after a match. I've had a few error-005's because of it.
Hopefully it will be all cleared up, if a-net arent working on a solution already.

Hmmmmm... the only issue I heard about what a brief disconnect for about 5,000 European players that took place approximately two hours ago and quickly resolved itself. (They're tracking to see what caused the brief "burp.")
As for guild issues, I wasn't aware, but I will ask our guild specialist and see if he has any idea what's been happening. I can tell you that sometimes, zoning to a new district helps. Occasionally, relogging into the game helps. And pretty much always, the issue resolves itself in a short time (<1 hour) and so no one should take drastic measures like quitting a guild in order to make things right.

Indeed, this was a massive server glitch Gaile. It happened quite late, but it did indeed occur. What seemed to happen was that all members saw each other as guildless, and some saw themselves as that way as well. Alliance chat and guild chat were also disabled for everyone in some guilds, and for others, only officers and leaders could use it. Odd glitch.

Its nothing new people, this happens sometimes. At least the 3rd time its happened in the past year and a half. Anet will work it out. Be glad you werent like me, whereas guild wars would freeze on my computers (both of them) anytime I tried to zone to my guild hall. Thankfully thats gone now.

Thanks for a reply.
Heard from others that similar bugs have occured during the latest weekend, maybe just related to server lag?
A few members in my guild experienced the old appear offline but logged in bug too.
Don't know if it would help but I have scrn caps of the time I became guildless with the alliance officer/leader only requirement in alliance chat

Ive experienced this problem before, i got really worried, had no cape or anything when i pressed G I also recently i had horrible lag in the Alliance and Guild Tabs, i had to wait about a minute before the mesage i typed showed up and as i asked around in the mission that I was trying to find a group for, i discovered that i was not the only person with this problem. Im on the EU servers, but is this problem EU only or anyone else on the US servers suffering?
