Probably gold sellers. They get Un-IDs, sell them for in-game gold, and then sell the in-game gold for cash.
And yes, we're dealing with them, daily!

I'm just kind of surprised bots are advanced enough to know my characters class...

Best way to deal with bots is troll em. Whenever they decide to screw with me I screw with them by offering them 10% of what they ask, then 1000%, then cancelling trade then starting trade all over again.
It may only be one bot, but at least I am wasting part of that corporation's time and getting a good lol.

I don't think you read my post correctly. At first I was on a ranger and I was asked to buy bows and ranger tomes. Then I switched to warrior and was asked to buy swords. Kinda creepy if you ask me.

Meh its a problem, but it seems anet are out there watching trades now - that should slow some bots down....
At least these bots are nice enough to talk, bgetter than real players running up to you and offering you some bottom of the barrel green...sure my warrior needs a +33% cripple hammer, who doesnt?

tbh. the problem is, their not bots, their sweatshop workers, and they arnt realy doing anything wrong, so, realy theres not much we can do, since what their doing is legal, all their doing is playing the game, well all they do is farm for hours and hours and then sell, boring but they get paid. badly.

nice, Gaile and CO. waste the time on bots and other insignificant stuff in stead of fixing real problems like Heroes Ascent, sour ripping and rit spike.
Look scaling done more bad then the u imagine.
If u didn't nerf all means of farming possible ppl will farm and have a loot of money and the didn`t need to by gold from eBay.
keep it like this and GW players will become WoW players

um,...if they're bots seller, what'll happen if you give them 1gp instead of 1k? Will they just accept? Cus that would be cool, I mean what're they gonna do? Report you for scaming a bot?

Just think about what you said there, if anything, a bot is far less likely than a human to be tricked.

Yeah, I never had to deal with seller bots before so I don't know how it work. Just thought it would be funny . I remember someone here posted that he did scam a seller bot, that why I asked.
