And how long would it take for you to do all these quests... assuming you aren't doing them all in a row like a bot, 10x? Extremely boring and repetitve, imo. And the issue isn't even about money. The point is how do we liven up questing once again because most non-primary quests are completely worthless.

Anyway.. I used to do all the skill rewards quests in prophecies, and got kinda disappointed that there weren't anymore for factions. I hated factions out of all 3 campaigns because most of the quests were going from one zone to another and talking to some dude whose dialogue you never read <_< and it was mostly the same area 50% of the time because the factions map was comparatively smaller than prophecies.

I completely agree with all of XvArchonvX's suggestions. Adding a new title for quest completion per campaign and zones of the game would flock everyone to do quests in general. I don't see it any differently than what the Protector of Canthan/Elona/Tyria titles require players to do. However, I must say, the introduction has heroes alone must have lessened questing with other players, considerably.

A title for quest completion could be tricky. What about all those noob quests that foreign characters can't do? What about the quests where your decisions can influence the number of future quests you can take? For example: "A Question of Morality". And not to mention that all my characters would have 1 quest left for the title: "The Troubled Keeper". Yeah, right.

I just do quests because they're enjoyable and not as boring as killing the exact same mob over and over again. And in nightfall, I make tons of money just questing. Sure, you could make more farming. But farming isn't always that fun. And why is it that the only important thing is the reward? If you find it boring, then why not ask that the content of the quests be changed instead? I don't get the "I'd do something boring if it gave me virtual money" mentality. I play to have fun, whether or not its profitable.

I used to, but now? Not so much. It's not that I don't want to do quest, it's just that most of the more interesting ones have zero incentive to do them. The rewards are pitiful.

I'd really love it if A.net takes a long hard look at quest rewards for Eye of the North. As stated above, 400 gold for a Master Level Quest. What?

I agree, tune quests so they give something worthwhile... the hero/wpn/skill/Sorrow's Furnace (new area) quests are good. It was dumb to remove that for Factions/NF. Good grief, 100 gold for a quest, give me a break. How about 1,000 gold for a quest, or 5,000. That makes it worth it.

I've attempted to do every quest and I'm only short a few of them (*cough*DOA*cough*).

Having had to pay for every skill in Factions and Nightfall was not fun.

The main problem with quests is not so much that people don't want to do them. It is that it is often faster to hench/hero it than to find people to do it. Compare this with missions, which have a designated outpost.

Here's a thought... how soon do you think people would complain if they raised the gold rewards for quests? You'd have two groups of complainers -

1. Those who did the quests already for less reward and now feel 'ripped off'.
2. Those who whine about the "economy" and the effects of the extra gold for everyone depreciating prices blah blah blah.

It's a no-win for ANet, and although I'd love the rewards to be jacked up I think it's better for them to leave things be.

Someone mentioned a good idea for quests. Since many people like the idea of skill quests like in Prophecies and others don't because they'd rather buy they skills they want then maybe there's a happy little medium somewhere. Why not make a skill reward quest where the NPC gives you a choice between a list of skills.

I don't really know what effect this would have on the game. I don't sit around pondering how this synergize with that, how these skills are balanced or how this item affects the economy...blah, blah, blah. I think it's an interested idea though.

I know this wouldn't really get implemented into the existing campaigns if it even gets considered, but...

I Like doing all the tyrian quests due to good experience and very rewarding with free skills, however I tend to avoid most canthan skills since its Just exp mainly and I'm already lvl20. I do the ones thats worth doing I think thats my point

I like quests but they are not rewarding enough for a lvl20 player. I still do most of them, for sake of having them done.

All experience rewards are quite useless for l20 players, so it would be nice to get some more other rewards, like better gold rewards or some more Kournan Coins etc. Or some extra progress to one of your titles.

Example: Titan Quests. A set of very hard quests that took me many attempts to complete. I still see it as a big accomplishment that I completed them all. But what you get? 50 000 xp, surely it is a lot. But you only get a few skill points with it, and I already had too much of them.

It would be better to have a reward like the book of secrets for these final quests. Or maybe an item that you can use to buy 15k armor pieces.
