Great article. I hope with the PvE only skills and the allegiance to different groups, you actually obtain a good amount of allegiance just playing through the game. You're not getting ANYWHERE on the luxon/kurzick track, not even rank 1, without hours of grinding. Sunspear/LB you can maybe get a few ranks just playing through normally, but again, a huge grind is involved. Hopefully, GW:EN will have a better progression of the allegiance tracks.

I'm looking forward to GWEN. More new places to explore is always good for me.

I'm a bit skeptical of the PvE skills in GWEN though. Lately Anet hasnt shown a nice level handed balancing of skills. Seems only we can see skill imbalance and/or lack of parity between the PvE skills per class yet Anet cannot. Clearly some of the recent PvE skills are useless, even if they were simply normal skills. Some got nerfed down to be more or less an elite skill and others are pretty mundane. Shouldnt PvE-only skills have been on the whole all more powerful than an elite? Shouldnt each class have one on each track worthy of the time investment on title tracks needed? Shouldnt PvE skills, given you invest title track time in them, be a bit more resilient (not immune) to nerfing? Guess we'll see how it goes.

You must be, or just being obtuse for the sake of it... guild Wars is balanced around PvP, simple fact... if that kills some builds in Pve then adapt, i do

I know it is, probably both. I honestly don't know since it's almost 4am and I haven't slept much for the last week lol.

There are 50 PvE skills. I'm sure some will be tied to class, some will be tied to quests, and some will be tied to Alliances with other races.

People decide what they choose to be goals, who are you to tell anyone what their goals should be? And what exactly is a goal? Beating the game? Which isn't much of a goal considering that factions takes less than a day to beat. And for a game that rushes you through there better be some dam good endgame, but that is not the case.

No one is asking for title tracks, I for one think they're retarded & useless. I'm interested in more variety of item stats instead of the same old rehash of the
same old stats only with different skins. Beating factions and then beating nightfall should not net you the same item(STATS) ! And not to mention the countless other greens that have the exact same stats as each other or as what merchants sell. For godsakes wheres the variety? I would rather that they separate Pvp only equip and pve equip and allowing pve equipments to get some more variety.

Honestly, the fact that Guild Wars 2 is coming means Anet doesn't really have to worry too much about "balancing" PvE anymore.

Let us make "god" characters, we've beat three campaigns, soon to be four. We deserve it!
