Nightfall
Factions
Prophecies
Nightfall seems pretty and has pretty weapons which atract me to it, prophecies was just a starter, after a while it all just became dull. Factions is 2nd because of the whole factions thingy between sides, although the city part seemed quite boring and annoying, looking on the world map and thinking if it could be cleare to areas that you could walk through, then again it is a cramped city, (still haven't tried deep or urgoz)

#1 Factions, I just really love it, the theme, the enemies, the structure.
Proph and NF are great, excellent storylines, but I feel NF is alot of courier content. go to a, to b, to c, back to a, to d, back to b etc. But I cant say there is a campaign I dont like.

Nightfall is my favorite. I like the diversity of mission types. (and Heros)
Prophecies. Can't beat skills as quest rewards!
Can't stand factions.

Honestly when it first came out and I started playing all the way through until now, Prophecies was, is ,and always will be the best Guildwars.
But at the moment, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction is the better campaign (until GvG that is)

For atmosphere - Factions, no contest. Getting through the slums was a chore, but it didn't prompt me to ditch the game for eight months, like post-searing Ascalon did.
I like NF a lot, but going through the starter island does become a chore, after the first character (I still love going through Shing Jea island, I've probably rolled and re-rolled a dozen characters there).
I also prefer the outposts - particularly Shing Jea Monastery and Kaineng Center. Kamadan is so-so - too boxy. The Sanctuary is a nice idea, but kind of dishevelled and featureless and the Command Post split means too much running around. Kodash Bazaar is the only NF outpost I *really* like, but that's still secondary to Kaineng. All major Prophecies outposts look great, but suffer from too much running around between NPC's.

Factions
Nightfall
Prophecies
Factions is the bestest - I <3 my rit and Luxon areas!
Nightfall has Vabbi - I <3 Vabbi!
Prophecies is showing its age, and its lack of exciting quests :P

1. Nightfall: I actualy liked the story. It lacked some character development, but then again they had a good amount of characters they had to fit into this campaign. The enviroments are also my favorite. Not all of them, but there are a few places in Elona that are just great to explore. Overall there isn't much I was unhappy about in this campaign.
2. Prophecies: I thought Prophecies had a decent story "although I hate Rurick". But for me the land seemed kind of bare and more like a maze especialy in Kryta. It's kind of annoying when a small bump in the ground can stop you from moving forward. It starts to lighten up once you get to the desert though. Other then that this is where it all started and what got me into GW in the first place. So I had to give it seconed.
3. Factions: I wasn't to impressed with the story in this one. The one saving grace for the story was Shiro in my opinion. At least you got to know your enemy and why he turned out the way he did. I kind of liked the Kurzick and Luxon stuff to. As far as Cantha goes I think they had a good idea with the city. Its just that it seemed to drag on, and sometimes it was hard to navigate. I did however love Echovald Forest. The Jade Sea had some nice areas to.
Well that's it for me

1) Factions, good story, awesome unique locations, especially the Kurzick forests and buildings, wonderful armor and weapons such as the 15k canthan armor and the celestial items.
2) Prophecies. Nice variance in locations, only thing that annoys me is that most of it is low level content. And I really hate the shiverpeaks, annoying creatures and boring repetetive landscape. Missions taking too long.
3) Nightfall. Horrible story, annoying Kormir that does nothing in the later part of the story but still is the one giving orders and what I feel like stealing the reward at the end. Annoying worms. No pyramids to explore. Ugly armor and weapons. Very linear too, and stupid grind for sunspear points. Annoying bonus objectives.
I shelved Guildwars after a week of prophecies, only to return a year later with the release of Factions. I finished the Factions campaign before I finished Prophecies.

Prophecies is the all time best. Best overall campaign/storyline, and It reminds me of the days where farming was possible, and PvP wasn't corrupted yet. Factions was a total disappointment to me. I would've payed 5 bucks for it maybe, for the skills and the professions, but the storyline was a waste of my time. Nightfall was much better than factions, skillwise and campaign wise, but cannot compete with prophecies.
Proph>Nightfall>Crap>Factions
I didn't like factions. at all.

My thoughts exactly.
Prophecies will always my campaign of choice. It's not even a campaign to me, but my home. Factions was a complete disappointment for me. The storyline was horrible. Nightfall is pretty good IMO. Five steps up from Factions but two below Prophecies.

Factions = The first guild wars campaign game I ever got, I always stick around in factions. I really liked this campaign a lot, and I completely memorize every quests in factions when i'm doing them over again.
Prophecies = It was alright, but got bored with it later on in the game, never beaten it, though I liked the characters in Proph. Which I have quite a few that came from Proph.
Nightfall = Of course this is for treasure hunting when I have the time to do it, also because of the Vabbian armors for certain characters.

Faction. Nice, quick, simple. Best environments in the game. I even liked Kaineng.
Prophecies. Abysmally slow levelling, no reward for finishing the campaign, but has nice varied environments and enemies (even if more than 50% of them pop up from underground...).
Nightfall. Slowish levelling - but not as bad as Prophecies, campaign is dragged out way too long, Realm of Torment sucks, and I'm sorry, but playing in different kinds of Desert and a few junglish areas for a whole game just isn't interesting. Saving graces were some really nice skills, armour and weapon skins, insignia and inscriptions.

I love all 3 equally, but for different reasons.
Nightfall had dervishes and awesome skills, also fun to chest run. The story pieced a lot of Guild Wars together. My favorite area is the Torment Realm, which i find absolutely beautiful. Nightfall also felt like the most of a challenge out of the 3. It had in-between leveling compared to the other 2 campaigns, it had the perfect speed.
Factions in my opinion had the most beautiful landscape and the most interesting enemies and costumes and overall flavor. It was also pretty straightforward in terms of story.
Prophecies was a gem because there was more to explore and more quests and more missions. So many loose ends of the map. It also had a large diversity of places and creatures.

Factions: loved the fast levelling, made most of my characters there, enjoyed it everytime. finished it with all classes except derv and para. soon ill do it with my derv and para.
Nightfall: heroes. treasure chests. finished it with all classes
GW:EN: dont know what it will have, but im sure ill like it more than prophecies. will finish it with all classes (if its not too long)
prophecies: its just too slow, too boring, only finished with one character.

Factions is by far the best. Grind-free, challenging missions, fast leveling, pretty scenery and backstory, it's got it all.
Probably Prophecies second just for old time's sake.
Nightfall is kinda underwhelming.

Prophecies - While it may be slow, it had my favourite areas to explore. It was also just the original classes, and I prefered the armors/weapons from that campaign.
Factions - Once you get out of the city.. The Jade Sea is amazing to just look at, not to mention I loved the idea of fighting for the luxons. I am not fond of the new classes though.
Nightfall - It added a WHOLE bunch of needed and awesome stuff to the game (heroes, insignias etc.) But the campaign.. I really never got into it. Though my main started there, he spends most of his time in Tyria.
Edit:: Hmm Nightfall was supposed to be before factions... oops/
