My vote goes to te Ritualist because its a half-good healer, half-good dmg dealer, half-good MM and you cant combine the attributes except Spawning Power+Communing

(from a PvP point of view)
I said Rit with necro coming up a sure second, only not winning because there are necro builds except for the defensive blocks of shit that are hexers, just they arent being played right now.Rit is almost always a gay bitch bar.
Also, I love the idiots who say that monking is staring at red bars.

I despise assasins. They are an absolute trainwreck of a class that makes almost no positive contribution to the game. Their two unique features, Rigid attack chains and Shadowstepping, are reasons #1 and 2 that competitive play started to die once factions was released.

Its a pity I have only one vote. I would vote for all expansion professions. But when I have only one shot, I would choose paragon. Their passive, impossible to remove defense skills, huge AL, never-ending IAS, and huge ranged DPS are breaking the competitive side of the game.

I feel the same way about monk, its boring when your forced to stare at the health bars to be effective.
Monk shouldn't be the ultimate healer and thats it, if everyone else had to work together to help each other stay alive it would be more fun. For example, if a monk was running an energy-hog build or had to constantly heal to the point of needing a necro to bip them the whole time... thats team work. But the way it is now, you find the monk doing the job of ONLY healing, necro bip ONLY doing bip and maybe a hex or 2.. thats it for the supposed team work. It falls into roles, who's doing what exclusively and only every where all the time... snore
Generally more about how long you can endure fights rather than until your bored, ya know?

funny that all the expansion professions got the most votes.
also funny how most gimmicks include professions from the expansions.
i voted for Rit because they do lots of things, but aren't that great at any of them.

Assassin. I don't know why, but there's various reasons.
1) They STILL run like drunk gorillas.
2) Ever observe a HoH fight? Those female assassin battle grunts get REAL repetitive.
3) Most assassins I've run into are jerks/noobs/think they can tank.
4) Boring. Shadow step, lead, offhand, dual. Die. Beg for res. Repeat.
I'm so happy the rangers are the least hated!

Voted Paragon... I just wasn't even able to make one... They look terribly, I don't get them, and i think they are useless.... wouldnt ever fight in a group with one, I could imagine hundreds of other professions to fill the empty spot in team better...
Ritualists, dervishes, and EVEN warriors and assasins, all those other most hated profs are more fun... and useful....

Voted assassin - 2 dimensional(attack chains and lameness) and both dimensions can be performed by a brain damaged koala.
People that voted Paragon because they are "useless" really need to go and seek medical advice.

hard to say. i've had fun playing all of them though i tend to gravitate to ranger, monk, rit and warrior.
paragon's kinda subtle, even though it's great (for a hero...).
well, usually...anything that's not ranger actually is my least favorite for one reason or another. i can never complain about ranger. we never have to say, "sorry," to each other. it's a good relationship.
pretty much anyone that says that a class is, "useless," or, "sucks," is someone that has no idea how to play that class. they all kick ass when used right (and i remember the time i was on my mesmer in a group with 3 assassins and no monks...the 1 rit in the group was channeling...and we got masters on that one factions mission where you pop the 4 portals in cantha...the one with the 4 shiro'ken bosses at the end...i forgot the name)

I voted Monk simply because they seem really lame like.... Hey look at me i'm a monk I stans back and let my friends do the fighting and heal them.... I know they are important but I just find healing people to be very boring I played a Monk for about 1 month worst month i've spent playing GW lol.

I'm surprised Dervish is so high up on the list, I thought it was an awesome class in so many regards; original concept, aoe centric, can be a very effective "active tank", soaking up damage with skills and not armor - almost like a mage tank.
I'm a nut for aoe since it's so incredibly satisfying to see all those numbers pop up on your screen when you run into a crowd and set off a chain.
Anyway, not meaning to stray off topic.
It's a tie between warrior and elementalist for me because they're just kinda.. basic. I voted ele since I don't get any satisfaction at all from just standing back and trying to dish out as much dps as possible to the correct target, give or take a blind here and a buff there. I found ele tank to be kinda fun, I guess.
As for the non-prophecies classes, definately paragon. Their armor looks uninteresting and not very varied between the different sets. Their playstyle seems a bit fuzzy, the only thing I've "nailed down" in regards to what they're supposed to do is stay close to the group to benefit from all the "within earshot" criteria. Direct damage paragons seem a bit eh, condition applying paragons seem a bit eh, tanking paragons seem a bit eh. All in all I just feel there are better options if you want to most of the things the paragon can do, except for the shouts and echoes. Their shout animation looks heaps awesome though.
Their lack of a quiver also looks exceptionally goofy, even more so than the ranger.
