I see people asking over and over again and also whining about GW not having an auction house like wow or other games. Its been over two years and im 99.9999999% sure anet knows everyone would like an AH. The thing is that in wow and other games that have auction houses they also have tons of servers and you cant buy from those servers, only the one you are on and can not transfer things to other servers unless u pay to have your char moved. Guild wars does not have this and if there was an auction house in GW the items on it would be practically worthless imo. Just imagine there would be 50 pages of dead swords, about 100 pages of victos axes and so on and so on there are only 2 main servers america and euro each having more than enough people in them to ruin prices if an AH was put in. In the other games the servers are limited numbers and and have characters that all start around the same time so the AH works there but in GW it would make everything worthless with the exception of the extremely rare stuff and you wouldnt be seeing 100k +ectos for these.

The new way the search system is about the best we will get, like it or not its an improvement to the way things were.

Actually the main reason we are not getting a AH is because the game currently doesn't make it possible.

As I see no real discussion here, just some whining and commentary on something that would be more suited to the other threads already discussing it..
