I'm watching over my friends account. Well, um. I kind of just got a message in the top left of my screen that said I only had 1 hour remaining on my nightfall trial 10 day key thing. Well that's all fine and dandy, but she has had Nightfall since it came out. Any ideas whats up?

Did your friend purchase the EotN pre-release package? It comes with some trial keys so you can try the other games if you don't already own them.

She has all of the trials on it, Proph Factions and Nightfall. I don't know. She put it on about 10 hours ago, so that must be it. Why she put them on I don't care. Was just worried that her Nightfall thing was going to get removed or something stupid.

If you buy the GW:EN preorder it automatically applies a trial key for each campaign.

Yea its got to be a glitch cause I cant see anet handing out trial keys with purchase then MAKING you use them on your existing account LOL.

The exact same thing happened to me...
I bought the GW:EN yesterday and tonight I got that message.
Seriously if they cut my access to NF I am gonna break something..

Ignore it. I got the same message last night, played 10 hours, nothing happened. This was just a bug.

Yeh, well so was the "bug" where it locked me out of my friggin account for 30 mins or more last night when my "trial" ended....

Thanks for letting us know about this. I don't see that there's harm, but I think it is interesting, nonetheless. (Of course, if you're blocked out after the "trial" ends on the account you already own, that's not good.)

I will pass this along to the programmers, who are a smart group of folks who always seem to know how to solve these things.

There is no harm gaile, but the people that already have all 3 campaigns and the order the pre release pack , isn't that kinda making the trail key useless?
I agree with some that it should send the key to your email.

Thanks for posting this guys. I was going to apply the pre-release pack as soon as I got it, but now I'll wait until this bug has been fixed. I certainly don't want my trial keys wasted...

Exactly! When you buy in the store, you get the trial keys to give to friends or what ever. If you buy in the game store, you get to use the trials on games you already own!
