Argh! What is wrong with you Celest!!! (joking ofc )

But in all honestly id still say the city is probally the Dullest place to visit, especially the sewers. Its different ill give it that but its still pretty horrid. Then again u grew up in that City so its understandable ud develop a fondness for it, as i do for Ascalon (post and Pre)

Especially since Prophs has such a slow pace and I've played through GW so often.
Actually i find Prophecies as fast as the other campaigns, theres alot less back tracking and the missions are as fast provding u dont go for Bonus's (which take a little longer) I once remade 2 characters and made 3 new characters and within 2 days and an evening all 5 characters had made there way to Ring of Fire with all Missions complete, most bonus's and all quests complete (with the exception of the SF and Titan ones). And that was back in the day before Heroes which make it even faster and easier.

How do you feel being the only off topic and negative post on this thread. As I said previously you can play the game as you like there is no right or wrong way and definitely no time limit.

I understand not wanting to the go through the full thing again at slow speed if you've already cleared it. My point was, I've only just recently cleared it, with exception of two titan quests and that's been playing over a year on the same character. And she's got a couple hundred hours under her belt. Perhaps I'm spending too much time socializing. XD

Risky, I thought griping PvPers were a requirement on Guru threads.

It took me a year to beat Prophecies. Not to go through Prophecies. It also took that same year for me to beat Factions and I am on the last mission of Night fall now.

Not because I was having a hard time, but because there is so much to do.

I'd get so side tracked farming, skill capping, enjoying the holiday festivals, exploring three chapters and testing different professions that I would forget about finishing. If hard mode and loot scaling hadn't come along it would have taken longer.

So play the game how you want burn through it or travel at the speed of cold molasses. In the end it only maters that you enjoyed the game.

I've taken my warrior through all three continents and have only a few more missions till Canthan and Tyrian Protector. It took me a good 5 months to get through all 3 campaigns as I only play about 9 hours a week. Now, I can't be bothered to get through Proph and Cantha since there are so few people. For my new characters, I usually start them in Cantha, level em up, get em ascended and head to Elona where there are still plenty of people. So, no I don't think your slow hehe.

Yes, whether it relates to OP or not.

Yeah I love how most PvE nubs make comments like "PvPers are whiners" (even when there is legitimately something wrong with PvP). If you dont PvP and dont know what the problem the people have is, dont comment on it cause it makes you look... well stupid. Its like calling the doctor and saying youre having a heart attack and he tells you to quit whining... wtf? The PvP is dying, my whole guild and I went from having lots of fun in HA to absolutely zero in 1 day. So we stopped playing it all-together along with almost everyother long-time players in the game. The PvE forums get Gaile to pop in at the drop of a hat, just QQ real hard and shes here to pat your wittle head... but the PvP forum gets no such luck. As a matter of fact it looks like the Public Relations trys really hard to ignore that part of the public...
If you play the game a few hours a week thats great, fine, whatever... but dont make derogitory comments because you dont understand the finer dynamics of the game and think that everythings hunky-dory cause your small bubble hasnt popped yet... I can remember when the game 1st came out that PvP got lots of attention and PvE people did nothing but "whine" and I doubt that they enjoyed that feeling they got from some of the PvPers who said "shut up quit whining" like i see some here saying. As it is I see tons of casual gamers having fun and thats great... but this is a 24/7 world-wide MMORPG, and if you design this game solely for the casual audience you might as well make an 8 lane cross country highway for the president to ride his bicycle on. Seriously I know theres idiots in the PvP forums just like theres lots here but I dont bash everyone with my searing forum club of density who says they do something I dont.
"Oh what you PvP? You must be a whiner" ffs
(P.S. I PvE and PvP, but consider myself primarily a PvE'er)

Your rant has nothing to do with the OP and contributes nothing towards it.
You pick on one little comment about another non-contributing opinion and rave on. I dare say you are a PvP'er in PvE clothing. Next time please keep to the OP.

i think that the dead aspect, as said before, is mainly pvp oriented.

also another point is that proph takes time because theres an actual reason to do sidequests, SKILLS. In NF and Faction why would you even consider doing sidequests? theres no reward (other than uneeded xp) and you can make enough money just going through primaries to get a considerable amount of skills. i blame that on anet.

My "rant" offers more than that post
Im going to point at you for pointing at me, cause youre a pointer ;p. Just cause you dont want to hear it doesnt mean its completely invalid... both my posts sum up my ideas very well... I made no personal attacks, unlike you . I made a generalization by saying "PvE nubs" but that just describes someone who has never really PvP'ed and has no idea what theyre even talking about, yet they will talk negatively about it and its players...eh just ignorance gone rampant i suppose... yes I admit a bit off topic, but like the OP is really chocked full of constructive potential :P. and keep driving that wedge between PvE and PvP I mean theyre part of the same game but gotta blindly dislike someone right? lol
