Ummm it does say at the end
______________
Now, don't worry—if you can't make the shows, we'll be offering a chance for you to get a key later on.
And European players will soon get information about upcoming local promotions that will allow you to
acquire the cute little creature, as well!
_____________
So they prolly will add the keys to mags like the Azure Mini

Just a small incentive to get people to turn up to the event. So calm kiddies, calm. Have a glass of milk and a cookie, mummy will be along soon to wipe your brow.

Ummm my milk has a slight taste of condescending, *tisk tisk* from a mod too!

Yeah its a Mini, and sure its an incentive. But some people are starting to wonder about the CR position the company is taking of late. Meh Australians should be use to it now, its our norm.

Just hope there numbers are high as to stop the 100k+ power sellers taking advantage of players who are actually interested in mini's for reasons other then there gold value.

As of late? This is nothing new for Australians. Nothing new at all.

If you love the Guild Wars miniatures and dream of adding to your family of diminutive companions, you'll want to know about the newest miniature: the Grawl. We'll be offering keys that allow you to acquire this little guy in July and August at local fan shows such as Comic-Con, Gen Con, and PAX. Stop by the NCsoft or ArenaNet booth at any of the shows to see if you can score a key. Quantities are limited and when they're gone, they're gone. One per account, please. Now, don't worry—if you can't make the shows, we'll be offering a chance for you to get a key later on. And European players will soon get information about upcoming local promotions that will allow you to acquire the cute little creature, as well!
Looks like the EU will be taken care of, but doesn't Anet treat Aussies like they're part of Europe? I'm not stupid, I know it's not, but I thought I read somewhere that for marketing and other purposes Anet lumps Australia in with Europe.*

*DISCLAIMER: This may be old information and I could be completely mistaken.

True, its a marketing/ release issue(And the default server). But they always did make sure to atleast offer sweet sugar coated PR text bytes about looking into methods to ensure all regions are treated equally.

Yeah other places did recieve special offers and minis. But umm Australia... we ummm Hey we got Nightfall on time and not a week or 2 later. And some of us were even able to get our pre-order packs too. Truely the lucky country.

My god I feel dirty now!

I know I sound bitter, and yeah I am. All I want is equality and sharing the love alittle. Oh and the lagg to be explained with out people telling me I transit the globe to be routed thru frankfurt (thats were the problem was, wasn't it)!

Thank God there is a new Mini.

I was praying there would no be a skill balance or "Obstructed" bug fix or anything that acctully matters to the game to make it work properly.

WTF, such a waste.

Duh.Why put any effort into pleasing the minority of people who actually see the constant problems with the game when you can simply please the majority of retards with a new mini pet?

Without the contact I have I would be up a creek without a paddle like everyone else...I live in Chicago...no where near where the events they are giving those away at. Most people live no where near where they are giving those away at. So to say only Non-US people are out of luck...is untrue...most people will not fly/drive several hundred/thousand miles to get to where they are being given away at. We might as well be in Europe or Austrailia.

I only have one hope...my boss lives and works in LA...he has a booth setup at the San Diego Comic Con about 30 feet away from the NC Soft Booth...and he said he'd try to get me a code. I don't intend to sell it if I get it though.

If he doesn't get one then I'll have to wait like everyone else for whatever opportunity they will present later to get one.
