Oi shut up guy. You have no dam right to complain after all how many weekened events do you get. Dam loser, the pvp community wouldnt be complaining if the tides were turned because were not intrested in stupid weekend events anymore being anet suck and have messed up HA royallllly. Whats the point of having a lame weekend event that only messes up the rank system even more especially when gimmicks are so rampart at the moment. This is just pure stupidity and im sorry but i have to say it but it is. With the coding ect anet did for this event would it not have been wiser to tackle some of the most pressing issues of HA of which some would be so easy to fix such as,
HEROS
SKILL BALANCE
REVERT HA BACK TO ALTER CAPPING
GET RID OF CAP POINTS AND ALL THAT JUNK AND RELIC RUN IN HALLS. basically just put HA back to how it was.
Seriously who makes all these stupid descisions. And people come up with a heap of toss that anet dont have time on HA.They have enough time to fix it but there just to dam lazy and rather spend it on unnessercary stuff such as this event. This is basically salt in the wound. How can you have a weekened event of double fame when basically HAs ruind, 7/8 of the good pvpers have left and wont even consider comming back unless HAs fixed. You got heroway owning ect. Seriously does this seem right to you. All the herowayers and ritspikers basically gonna zoom up the rank ladder. GG ANET (your such failures in terms of pvp).
There like broke politicians. You ask them for something simple (go HA section and look at the HA poll) and they throw you something else. Its like if im poor and i want cloths and food and anet throw me a spade. Someone in the companys not doing there job correctly not at all and any who can defend the persons whos making such choices i ask you to stand up because frankly its undefendable.

It's been alluded to, but honestly...
This is a PvE weekend. This is an opportunity for PvEers to flood HA with their Olias and Master of Whispers, join PuGs without Vent, and gain their Deer.
Most PvPers, unless they are into farming heroes, will stay away.

Well, it depends what you consider a PvPer. If you consider them a balanced player who knows the game, most will stay away (although I admit, I am going to play because I HAVE to rank up or I will be left in an ever-increasing dust of shitty players). Now, if you consider the people with an IQ of 90 that do ritspike, zergway, etc. and think they're leet cause they can 321 PvPers, then no, they will not stay away, because they think rank and fame are everything and mean they're good.

lol ^^
Actually I tried Dwarven Battle Stance in RA and it turned up as kinda effective. For 10 secs the monk can't cast anything except maybe a reversal, which is enough time to kill him with spacebar attacks. That skill really depends on luck, but if you're lucky then you totally shutdown your target.
hehe I should try 3 DBS wars in HA sometime :P

If you don't like the weekend don't participate, just better for all of us that way. For all of you PvP players out there who do this all the time just think more easy NOOB teams to dominate for faster points.
Don't complain about weekends that help the general public, just think they could just not do them at all.
O and I am one of those PvPers that does ritspike and others like that cause it is easy and effective for my experience lvl in HA. Just because I run the easy way out doesnt make me a bad player just a smart time effective player.
and again if you dont like it dont play then you wont get upset about things and you wont have to whine to people over the internet.
Thats all i got. Hope to see you there cause then i'll get a challenge and hopefully learn a thing or two at the same time.

You sir are what is wrong with HA. We dont play HA to dominate noob teams we play for the challange infact we prefer to play experianced teams most of the time. If you didnt notice also, this does not benefit the gernal community. Something that would benefit the general community however is if anet decided to actually fix HA. And playing ritspike does not make you a good player im afraid. The skills you learn in gimmicks such as that do not help make you at all an a nice rounded player.
As for if you dont play it, im affraid you have missed the whole point. Many experianced HAers are not going to play it for one, and the reason were upset is because of the lies anet have told us and because they have ignored us and tried take us for a ride for over a year now. Then to add sault in the wound they do stupid events like this when such requests of the community like remove kill count could have been removed using that time instead.
Please dont talk on matters you dont understand. I would suggest keeping your lips closed and just keep on observing untill you actual get a grasp of what were complaining about and what is actually going on here.

bullshit.
We all are playing just from 2 reasons : fame. And Fun. And losing to expirienced team just isnt included in this calculation. And for stupid event : go in ID district while this event is gonna be on, you'll be suprised how much ppl thinks in opposite way that you do.
So if it's stupid event are you gonna be part of it? I doubt that anyone with a part of brain is gonna say : "No, i'm not participating this out of protest becuase a-net doesnt listen to players" while you can get much more fame than normaly.
With or without killcount.

Actually me and my entire Guild only played for that 1st reason FUN, Fame just came as a by product and doesnt even really matter if youre not completely self-obsessed...

I agree... but anet should encourage skill and tactics for the higher lvl PvP in their lower lvl PvP, not dummy down the high end PvP with win buttons and gimmicks...

I have a complete, working, intellegent brain.
Playing vs heroway/ritspike/zergway is no fun. I want play a game of strategy and tactics like a game of chess when i go to HA, not mindless 1234 1234 1234 button mashing. Nor do i want to play "build wars."
But I'll say it:
No, I'm not participating in this weekend event out of protest because anet doesnt listen to its players.
Although I wouldn't have played anyways cause Im not playing at all for the very same reason... same with my entire guild...
have fun with youre mindless skilless heroway weekend I take pride in myself and the rank that I earn so i dont play bullshit...

Pretty much the same thoughts here. Oh btw morgoth, I skipped out on the second double fame weekend voluntarily because HA, especially on a double weekend like that, blows more than Jenna Jameson on a work day. Of course, for the non r9ers, you pretty much have to play this weekend no matter what or you're going to be left behind a rank... Really though, double fame is annoying title wise, but you wouldn't have people complaining like this if the game weren't unbalanced so much atm.

I doubt that heroway and ritspike players think it's a bad idea. I don't think that players posting on GWG represent a large fraction of GW.

Uh. No.
This is the reason why people will actually be playing imo.
Easy fame from PvE scrubs thinking they can get their bambi's is the way to go.
