So I was on IRC/GWP and saw someone ask the PVP community why they trash talk Rt spike, Heroway, etc, while playing it whenever they can. On Observer i have watched numerous times people from Rawr, Lazy, IQ play heroway, or Rt spike. It is quite obvious they do it for Champ points. But this was the funniest part of the whole IRC convo. They banned him, and then started trashing his noobness( for lack of a better word) I just found it funny, that people go to that channel because it is supposed to have all the good GVG'rs. After listening to that it seems that channel has the most 5 year olds.

Anyone else have some good stories of supposed really good players acting like children?

Wow, the previous four posters (EDIT : except akuma) need to shut the hell up. Firstly, don't come to #gwp if you're a retard. The reason people trash talk rit spike, searing flames etc is because they are builds that take absolutely no skill to play. Generally, the only people who get banned from #gwp are unable to type a coherent sentence or are just plain annoying to the other posters.

EDIT 2 : In fact, Black Mischief (gwp channel owner) just put it better than I ever could :

Please I have been an avid listener to GWP and yeah it is about fun. But wow all It is obvious you guys like is your own voice.

1. As much as JR might be a good guy, I don't think he's anyone's hero except to a hot little Venezuelan girl. No one is beholding to him and he was following the rules a moderator when he banned you.

2. Your entire intent, along with the initiation of this thread, is to insult people and incite nasty rhetoric. If you have a legitimate complaint with specific players, specific builds and skill, then by all means come right back into the IRC channel and debate it all you like. But when you show up and just spout off insults with little/no basis in reality and generally just crap on "all top PvP players who ritspike" and brag about how you beat "some guild who had a guest from iQ and rawr guilds"... how can anyone take you seriously? You are a mouthy punk just rambling to try to boost your own ego. In my opinion, it's not valuable discussion in #gwp, on guildwarsguru, or anywhere in the free speaking world.

This statement is really intellectually dishonest. Any internet chatroom with 70+ people and a game developer needs to be +moderated. The pve people there spamming about their grand cartographer title were the worst of the lot and they had nothing to do w/ #gwp. No one from #gwp insulted, harassed, or conspired to offend people in that channel. If they had, I would have banned them out myself. A lot of players were from the european irc servers, which had nothing to do w/ #gwp.

And I would also note, that you +v'd me during that discussion... so if #gwp is so terrible and I'm such a bad guy... why would you let me direct 5-6 questions then?

As I thanked you before, I will say again -- thanks for putting together a discussion with a representative from NCSoft. It's helpful to the community. But these baseless statements, particularly when it was a #gwp participant who encouraged you to moderate the discussion, are really silly.

Jimmy, whoever you are, if you're JJ1 from irc, you're the worst person I've ever seen. Ever. You came into the channel, said "lol JR ur bad" and then when he followed up on it, he verbally pummeled you into the ground and you acted like a kid flailing wildly at an adult who has his hand on the kid's head. You wouldn't even tell gwp what guild you were in. Stop talking.
