One question and one question only. If anyone can provide a REAL answer, other then "because it's only fair because someone else got them" then I will gladly sign this. That simple question is; What could you possibly need with a rune in pre-searing? (Now before you jump ugly on me about these follow up questions keep in mind that they are the same question) Do you honestly think it will make anything easier? How much easier could it possibly get? There are ONLY FOUR foes who are over level 5 and ONLY ONE who IS level 5 and a handfull of level 8 Charr. Why oh why do you think you need a rune to defeat level 1, 2, and 3 foes and 4 level 12 Charr?
Now you can sit there from now till doomsday spouting some ridiculous “logic” about how adding these wont open the floodgates to people wanting more and more in pre, but the reality of it is that that's exactly what will happen. And please get off your high-horses talking about how everyone who is against this is some sort of scammer or glitcher. I take offense to that, not all of us did what the OP did and bought illegal items. The fact of the matter is that there are people who actually ENJOY pre the way it is and see no need to start making such drastic (yes is drastic) changes.

PS: Someone mentioned the idea of making pre armor incapable of holding runes, now that I WOULD /sign in a heartbeat. Why aren't more of you members of the "fairness police" supporting that idea, an idea that would actually accomplish the ends you CLAIM you are after.

I'd love to answer, friend.
Let's put the "fair" issue on the shelf for just a bit. I know some people don't want to look at this from that angle. Anyways, people love to improve their characters. Some of these people are permanently in pre-searing. At a certain point, they have gone as far as they can. Except one.
All those dropping runed armours from the Charr Northlands. But darn it....there's no way to use them. "What you say"? Blackmarket? What's that? OOOoooo.
Joe Schmo now has an avenue to continue making the best character he can. For a price (a huge unmoving, exploitative price).
Need you say? Now that's not a fair (Ugh...there's that word again) stipulation to add as a requisite for you changing your mind here. What does anyone "need" to play guild wars? Not alot.

Is this a reason for not trying to become the best your character can be? Sorry for answering with a question, but I thought it was appropriate.

If at that time, I encourage those that request further changes to debate, and demonstrate the reasons for their requests. Not considering an option that will fix a current situation for fear of future requests, seems to be the "ridiculous logic" here.
High Horse? I don't think so. The large majority of people that oppose this cannot demonstrate or even vocalize responses that address the concerns of the original post's purpose. They skirt around the issue with tangents of near random points or discussion, and then slide in a "/not signed".

Might be on this thread, or the one on the other forum. I've stated that I would support this also. I have something to lose with this solution, but I would sacrifice it in a heartbeat for what I believe in. Would you? My conviction on this situation will not waiver.

I agree with this, as well.
/signed to either adding expert salvage or removing "runed" armor drops and weapons with removable upgrades from pre-searing

I don't have a salvage kit. I DONT EVEN HAVE A PRE CHARACTER!
I just feel that adding salvage kits would ruin the entire atmosphere of pre-searing.

i read this the other day and thought hey what a great idea and the last update include charr salvage kits that were equivalent to elite salvage kits that drop from char bosses maybe this proves the devs do listen a little to what is wanted
