THAT is appriopriate action, what is not appropriate is a rollback which would affect all players who've logged on in the past month.

I'm all for that, if it's possible. If there IS a way to ONLY PUNISH the dupers then of course I would be for it. But it doesn't seem likely as the dupers have already traded around to legitimate users, and most likely have multiple accounts that they could have stockpiled their duped items on.

Just saw a Monk in International District 1 with butterflies and the Assassin Enchantment around her running WAY faster than 50%... Her health bar also said she was enchanted..... In a town?

Does this have anything to do with what's going on right now, or is this completely unrelated?

Are the butterflies are like Soothing Images and the assassin animations like Dash? Those are used when people consume some booze/sugar so i think he's just used a lot of Creme Brulees, Wine and Red Bean Cakes.

I know there are a lot of armbraces out there; or used to be. Suddenly all of the WTS armbraces in Ascalon dis 1 are gone; this means fixed? I don't know. The thing I am worried about is the following. I've been saving for a couple of weeks now for an armbrace. Nearly got all of my gems and plan to trade them in today for a tormented recurve bow. But with all the fuss about duping, how can I know its safe to trade my gems directly to the keeper for an armbrace? And that there won't be a reset / reroll / whatever and I won't lose what I've been saving up for weeks now? How can one tell the difference between someone who's been saving up genuinely or someone who just duped his armbrace? Think its not safe to buy ANY armbraces right now and just wait until the storm calms down...

I agree with you..but does Anet know when this all started?.. There would have to be another Dragon festivle and a bunch of other things right before GW:EN, sounds kinda cluttered

Like said numerous times, rollback isn't a option now. They 'll have a few options. Leaving it as it is or replacing the whole ambrace system. I can't think of more options, even though we have discussed this intensively in the guild.

Very disturbing...

What I've heard is that it is some sort of bug or mayb a hacker that put it in. People say duping armbrace's is duable by every one. I don't know how and i don't want to know.

If any1 hears from some1 how to do it: Report the person to Anet.

List of things that Anet can do to stop this:
-Make armbrace of truth untradeble
-Remove the re-connect function
-Remove all but 1 armbraces wenn u leave DoA
-Make it impossible to have more than 1 armbrace at a time
-Have constant bots watching for DC re-connect in DoA and kick players that are constantly re-connecting
-A new function that makes you leave wenn you traded the gems for the armbrace

List of things that we can do to help stop this:
-Do not sell your armbrace for less than a certain price(something like 100k+50e)
-If ur a duper: stop playing GW and go **** up another game
-Convince other people not to sell there armbrace for less then a certain price
-If u see some1 reconnecting all the time at the armbrace trader: report him to Anet

For the rest we cant do much about it then just wait.

I just have 1 message for the dupers:
Why do you wan't to **** up a perfect game like GW? If they find out what you're doing i hope they will ban you from every internet game in the universe..

This kind of people really upsets me

As an aside, I wonder if it's worth putting a warning or something in Ventari's--particularly the High End thread. I went for a wander and noticed a significant number of Gwens for sale, for instance. Should shoppers be made aware they could be buying duped items?

Just a thought. Doesn't hurt to be cautious...

I was just in there having a yell at all the Armbrace buyers. Told them the spot's already been tagged by this thread numerous times and that they won't find anything in Ascalon City.

Possible outcomes:
1) ANet suspended their accounts for a few hours to block buying the armbraces.
2) They were all sold the armbraces and have moved on.
3) They moved on after listening to me :P
