If someone is wrongly banned, they usually get their account back within a few days or weeks. Its not a huge hassle and Anet usually fix their mistakes!

What about those were banned for good reason? should we just ban then for a set amount of time, instead of perminantly?

What kind of discouragement is that for breaking the rules!!!

Stop complaining and be realistic. Anet is going to make mistakes and the odd wrong person is going to be suspected of breaking the rules and have their account blocked.

Just follow the rules and contact Anet and explain its a mistake and 9/10 times your account will be given back.

You cant expect Anet to always ban the correct people, because its a hell of alot of information they have to trail through to see how people are behaving ingame.

You wont fix/reduce the issue of people breaking the rules ingame by being nicey-nice to them. You have to come down on people hard and have zero tollerance and ban them perminantly otherwise they just come back and start again.

You cant just slap someone on the rist and say "right youve been bad, you cant play for 6 months, bad bad person!!". You have to completely remove their right to play all together.

If they ban the wrong person its unfortunate and they will resolve that issue. But just because mistakes happen is no reason to make the banning regulations more lax.

What you also have to consider is that they already made the banning system more lax by giving us a certain number of flags on your account. You dont get banned unless you break the rules a set number of times.

So for them to make mistakes you must be doing some really dodgey looking stuff, over and over again. But stop winging and just contact Anet and get your account returned.
