Endless level cap!?!?!
There is a rumor going around in Guild wars sites Gamespot articles and in other mmorpgs It sates that Anet is actually considering a endless level cap for GW2?!?!? How is that possible That would make it so that there would be no goal in the end for players. I don't only speak for myself but I made polls in different game sites about this and about 8/10 people wouldn't play a game that has no set level cap.

Anet has said it isnt decided yet what they are going to do with levels in GW2.
they did say that it may be a higher level cap/ or no level cap. but did say taht each level you cain teh benifits are less. so basicly that means the diffrence between level 10-20 is bigger then the diffrence to 20-30 and so on.

NO LEVEL CAP!?
THIS IS BLASPHEMY!!
THIS IS MADNESS!!
No, please don't say it.
Anyway, heck, silly thought here crossing my mind: ArenaNet might just do something, I don't know... DIFFERENT THAN ALL THE OTHERS?
Also, what IS a level? Define a level. There are thousands of games that just don't have levels.
Is that really all that you want? Levels? Go play ProgressQuest.

Endless "levels" would mean constant expansion = cost. The comment about endless level as something different to other, WoW has announced up to lvl 80 will be acheivable in the next installment, the idea therefore has already been snapped up by Blizzard, and you can be pretty certain this will continue to happen with more expansions to WoW.

Guild wars isnt going to make endless lvl caps because that makes pvp wierd. There has to be a cap for the pvp to be at. PvP chars cant start at base 1 because then they have to grind shit to lvl and thats pve bs.

Its too early to tell anything about GW2. Its still about 2 years away. For all you know, leveling up at a certain point could do nothing but add some cosmetic things (like unlocking cooler looking armors with identical stats or emotes). Don't freak out. It's WAY to early to do so.

They already said that, whenever you do pvp, you're going to be max leveled and UAX from the beginning.

I'm sure its alsom be mentioned that PvP would still be leveled and balanced. So the level cap/lack of would really only be a PvE thingie

Yup they're gonna turn this into a korean grind to attract the asian market -- No i really hope they dont lol
I think they are gonna have a higher lvl cap to attract some different players, but I'm hoping that you can just do missions and quests all the way up to the cap just like in GW1. No grind please.

hell GW1 already has an endless level cap in a sense. For all we know they could just set level 20 is when you stop getting attributes but every time you level up after that it adds another number instead of staying at 20.
Though I am slightly worried about them koreanifying the game :S

The Endless Level Cap comment was just a really, really bad way of saying "we don't freaking know yet, the game probably won't be released for 2 years, and no one will care. Leave us alone."

GW2 is far away, and I doubt ANet will decide whether to change the level cap or not for awhile. It's too early to discuss really, wait until ANet makes a decision.
