What do you think would happen if...
...somebody, oh, I don't know, used a Perfect Salvage Kit on a +15% Damage Unconditional Weapon? I mean, okay, one could assume that they wouldn't be able to get anything worthwhile off of it, other than a prefix or suffix mod. But, what if?
This isn't really a Q&A session starter. It's more of a discussion spark. With the new Perfect Salvage Kits, and other possible items of crazy awesomeness, what kind of things do you think we might be able to do in the future of the GW1 series? Crash the economy even further, perhaps? Maybe save it?

It is attached to the weapon itself, it would not be salvageable since it is not an inscription. Thats about it isn't it?
But...if it somehow created a new insignia called "Impossibility", and you can add the 15% unconditional to anything, then I would imagine a very rich person would sell it to another very rich person, and 99.9% of the GW population would be unaffected.

What if they used Perfect Salvage Kit before it was..hmm... fixed and destroyed that weapon?
Thats more interesting question to ask.
Or, what if PvP character deletion bug struck and carrier of that weapon vanished?

What's a Perfect Salvage Kit? If it's an EOTN item, please provide a description so I actually know what it is.

5 uses, 100% chance to salvage whatever you choose to remove from a weapon without destroying the weapon. Costs like 250g, a skillpoint, and some cheap materials to obtain.
This isn't all about PSK's though. We don't know what all is going to happen in EotN. I thought Riverside was like, the place to speculate about new features and crap. Come on folks, you're killin' me here. Speculate!

Its a salvage kit that will not destroy the item that you are salvaging. At least that is how it is supposed to work, however, before I use it on my 15K armor or a nice elemental sword, I will wait to see if it really is perfect.

I'm not sure what there is to speculate on. I mean, you pretty much covered it. You're not going to be able to salvage off something you couldn't before. All the perfect one does is make sure the item you're salvaging off of doesn't break. That's it. What else could there be?

Well, I'd "speculate" but we all know how it is going to work, and even if it was somehow fancy, it wouldn't have any impact on me at all.
I mean, we know that you don't have an option to salvage it with any other salvage kit, and that there is no inscription on them that you could salvage. I just don't see what there is to speculate. Sorry

If it was possible to salvage the unconditional 15% damage mod then the fabric of time and space would unravel destroying the universe as we know it! 0.0

Same way people can post on a subject they haven't really read about.
You shouldn't be able to, but apparently, it happens.

So is this what you really want to talk about then? What can we do with all these new and wonderful toys?

Basically. What can we do with what we have seen, what do we think we might see in the future, what do we think we'll be able to do with that, etcetera. The mention of Perfect Salvage Kits and Unconditional 15% Damage Mods was just a comment to try and gets the cogs turning (but, in hindsight, I guess using those as kick-starters wasn't such a good idea, seeing as how people seemingly only read parts of posts around here).
You know. Speculation. About Guild Wars. Guild Wars items, specifically.

Or, perhaps they are only responding to that part of your post? Is that such a crime? Now you want every post to address every part of the post they are responding to?
Also, I think people figure the subject you want to discuss is what is contained in your title. Since your title leads into the first paragraph, that appears to be the subject of discussion. The last couple of sentences are typed as if an afterthought - unimportant.
Anyway, now that you've clarified exactly what you intend this thread to be -
I think there should be some cheaper sweets and alcohol - hopefully some that have some extra effect like the cupcakes/chocolate eggs (but maybe not as powerful). That's what I would like.

If they could somehow salvage the unconditional damage modifier it would just sell for a load of gold. Thats if have understood your post correctly. Anyway AFAIK all the people with 15% ones dont play anymore. Highest unconditional damage modifier I know of on active accounts is 14% on hammer, 14% sword, 14% bow, 14% axe. I could see them selling for 2k ecto plus. But this is all hypothetical.

No, but responding to a cog-turner that is meant simply to kick off discussion and is not meant, or needed, to be discussed beyond that while the real core is ignored is slightly dissatisfying to the one who intended to spark something.
I guess I'll respect everyone's right to further discuss something that is clearly impossible, though. It can't hurt anything, I suppose.
