The only difficult thing is that SOB dwarf that says, "We love you I Snow Bunny I!", and than heals Headmaster Vhang.

wow @ you guys.
How about instead of running your standard mending+healing hands combo, you try using a little creativity? Any profession can EASILY make several builds to rip through the arena without trouble, except MAYBE monk would have trouble.

Just FYI the spectators healing is a bug and will be fixed soon. If you still have problems after it is fixed, please let us know.

Thanks for the update, Andrew. The spectators healing has forced a stalemate on me in 2 rounds. Also, a big thank you for the Norn arena; it's great fun. As for overpowered, I've defeated every oponent with my warrior, so I guess that means that either warriors or myself are overpowered. Any class can do it, but Monks may have to steal an idea from Mhenlo and the farming forum.
edit: As for Zho appearing, I've fought her multiple times; it is random

Zho's Journal is customized to your character once you defeat her.

In an attempt to be constructive, here's an effective Ele build that works 99% of the time:
[skill]Stone Daggers[/skill][skill]Obsidian Flame[/skill][skill]Earth Attunement[/skill][skill]Sliver Armor[/skill][skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill][skill]Kinetic Armor[/skill][skill]Ether Renewal[/skill] + [skill]Mending Touch[/skill] or [skill]Hex Breaker[/skill] or [skill]Gaze of Contempt[/skill]
16 Earth, 13 Energy Storage
Credits go to my good friend and guild mate.

That's nice to know. Went through the norn arena with 3 characters today, and although it was pretty easy, I had to leave a few times due to not being able to out-damage an opponent with lots of self healing + spectator healing. Other times I managed, but it was long and boring.

No way overpowered. I know the cookie cutter build for warriors i Grenths Balance (at the moment), but I steered away from that to play about with a build I used to farm hydras with back in the desert (Victory is mine / ripostomatic). I swap equipment about against the casters, add in an interrupt for casters, and I manage to beat 95% of stuff (so far only Eve and Menhlo still have winning margins against me).

As much as I hate to do this, I'm going to have to side with the "Learn2Play Lol" side here... :{
Seriously, it's not hard.
Honestly "C-Space" works wonders here.

They charge you once you enter the arena.
In the Sneak Peak they just idle like a retard and wait while you spirit spam right in front of their face. When you pull aggro they'll just blissfully walk into your 1000 dmg per second death traps like they don't know it's there. This applies even to Bison.
I think its a good change.

I heard Bison uses his bear form right away now.
It is a good change. I thought it really odd that they stood there and let players prep anything they wanted for as long as they want before the fight.

Yeah, basically trapers and Spirit Spammers can't be used like before.
Will probablly blow for people with slower loads (like my 56k at home), might even make it unplayable, but that's the price you pay for making it difficult.
Nothing against AI (well, other then like DoA and Mallayx) is ever "overpowered." It can be diffcult. It can require a wierd build that you design yourself. But it can be done.

God forbid we'd ever want gameplay that requires "designing" builds "yourself" now, would we?

The question would be, is that price worth paying? Because if it ends up being a DoA fiasco type thing again, there won't be many people playing that part of the game.
What they should do is use a type of difficulty ramp where the enemies get progressively harder and not right out of the gate on the first round. The only thing that does is bring out specialized wipeout builds that ends up defeating the entire thing on a whim (like the spirit spam).

Played it for the first time today; got to Bison and lost first time, adjusted, lost, adjusted and won. Somehow I thought it would be harder with all the griping.
For reference, it was my ranger. I used a modified ebon dust aura build in the end; Called Shot, Screaming Shot, Distracting Shot, Apply Poison, Troll Unguent, Antidote Signet, Rending Touch and Ebon Dust Aura.
Didn't meet Zho though, but I've only tried 3 times. I'm sure that she'll turn up.

Just saying...
Norn Tourny is not over powered at all. sometimes people have to understand that they are not good at the game and need some outside help or practice/better ideas.
There are Two Universal skill bars that can be used by any class, but .you should try and figure it out. (go look it up)
But i do agree upon the spectators being a real nuisance due to the fact that they may do some weird healing (not sure, but i have noticed some strage healing happening to the NPC's in match) and to the fact that when i press "V" (My Hotkey for closest ally) it selects them and not something i need.

Is this BS a bug? it's getting on my nerves.
I've wasted 800 gold trying to get to Zho.
EVERY SINGLE TIME, 8 of 8 tries, the spawn of enemies have been like this:
Kisai, Vekk, Cynn, Eve, Mhenlo, Bison
it is REALLY getting on my nerves.
