This is also true. But I wouldnt run off with any. So Ill be on about 7pm pst thats in 4 1/2 hours and Ill be doing 1 MAYBE 2 egg hardening runs so pm me if you want me to harden your eggs.

I don't understand. Final Assault doesn't have to be completed and even if it was, Kilroy is still repeatable.

LOL yeah I got 3 greens myself doing that run, including 2 greens from a single boss. I was rather surprised. I got Bortak's Bone Staff and his Bone Cesta.

Yeah, those Sorrows Furnace quests are repeatable.

I wonder what would happen if you didn't harden the eggshell.... would it come out as a regular moa or strider?

I'm in Shing Jea Dis 1 right now by the Xunlai chests with a small collection of hardened eggs. I'll trade one hardened egg for one normal egg plus one spiritwood plank.

I think I saw someone say they went with a friend that had the quest and it worked.

It took me less than half an hour to pick up 5 moa eggs, get them hardened at the falls, run out and grab some volcanic rock, pick up some nesting..... actually that's as far as I got before I ran out of inv space heh.

Yeah you shouldn't need the actual quest to do it. You just need to be able to get to the part where the guy dumps his gooey goodness on you, then voila your incubator turns into a baby moa.

Mini pet(once obtained) is not customized.
You do NOT need to complete all the Sorrow's Furnace Quests, Unless you want to. As long as somone in your part has Final Assualt, you can get it done. That is how I did it.
Also, if you wait in the area outside of where the golem is, next to the blast furnace, a bucket of lava is dropped on the plankway...stand underneath that to get the mini moa hatched.

I sold my moa for 90k. Out of curiosity, what are others buying/selling for?

I didn't want to hang about because the price will go down as supply increases which is potentially infinite. If I could sell mini moas for 90k all the time I could make a million+ per day farming skree wings and bog skales.

Can only get the incubator on a single character, then Katherine won't talk to you any more, so they will still be a bit limited

Seen a few people selling them around what you did.

The slot in the Incubator is for an Hardened Moa Egg only so its not possible to put a normal Moa Egg in. Also the whole point of going to Sorrows Furnace is to burn off the new coating on the hardened egg. So Black Moa only i'm afraid.

The Moa does make sounds every now and then. While farming Norn Points in Drakkar mine made a weird sound

It appears the Iron Forgemans "Sorrows Flame" attack does trigger the hatching as long as you have all the items (Everything even the Honeycomb and Juni Berries) in the incubator. The easier way is to stand nearby the huge furnace when it fires up though.

Make sure you drag and drop the items inside the incubator - people have been pming me and this seems to be something people are forgetting to do.

You don't need it yourself. I went in with a full party of which only one had the quest.
