Obviously one of the less bugged heroes.
Take Zhed on the other hand and he acts like his vision is bad, so he runs UP TO the mob inorder to cast a long range spell.

Here's the deal, the henchies literally cannot be blamed. They have a skillbar and a program, and if *you* fail while travelling with them then *you've* failed to utilize them correctly.
The henchies are great at what they do, the only time they'll fail you is when you tell them to do something they aren't capable of. This failure by the way isn't their fault... it's yours.

How's it m fault that in the middle of one fight, Menlho decided to run out of my aggro buble and start wanding a mob that wasnt in the fight?
But, for the most part Hero's and hench have got me through alot of the game. Even if half the time they were dead or not obeying my flags :P Hero mesmers give great interupts though, hell if you ahve an extra skillslot just throw an interupt in and enjoy.
It was nice when Koss actually used a conjure build right. That surprised me.

Props for:
Herta (both NF and GWEN): her wards rock, and Sandstorm is one HELL of an elite.
Aidan (GWEN): Finally has a WONDERFUL damage dealing set up with that Ivory Bow of his. A hench with Barrage (who knows how to use it!) = LOVE. Also, he has Dual Shot and Volley too, and he knows which of the three "multiple shot" skills to use in the right environment ie: using Barrage on big mobs, Volley/Dual on smaller mobs/melee. PLUS he now has Whirling Defence - his first defensive skill. Almost the perfect hench?
Zho: Always been useful, but now with BHA in GWEN means uber reaction time, and giving me the ability to experiment with other ranger builds for my heroes.
Devona: Knockdown and a willingness to get in the thick of things. I like having her at my side (when I play Warrior). I choose her over Talon all the time (because he's not always useful against non-fleshies).
Lo Sha (GWEN): Ineptitude = insta-blind on critical foe. Wowsers!
Redemptor Karl (F): KNOWS how to use Aegis.
Erys Vasburg (F): An interupt MACHINE.
Eve (Core): That blood rit is damn useful.
Cynn (Core): Always useful, if a little squishy. But in GWEN, now with added extra METEOR SHOWER! Muahahaha! There are some moments she DOES bomb a pack JUST right.

Since for the time being I mostly H/H the game.. my normal playing partner is having trouble connecting I have to say I'd be lost without the henchies. I ALWAYS have Zho or Aiden, depending on what I'm doing. Herta is a wonder most of the time. And I love Devona, even if she Leeroys on occasion.
My only gripe really is Pimplo.... or would that be Phimplo? He's still got a nasty habit of getting in too close to the frontline and tends to stop and heal when he's flagged to move. And for goodness sakes.. PLEASE.. someone explain to him that not every female in the game world is there for him to pick up on. He seems to wanna stop and chat up everything that doesn't have xy chromosomes, regardless of species. Otherwise he does a decent job, which is why he stays employed.
Sometimes I miss Alesia.. at least you could count on her being consistent about wanting to be a tank.

I miss Orion, Stefan, and Little Thom. I was glad most of the old henchmen made it to the Norn Fighting Tournament. I just don't get why the suddenly bailed on me when I went to the ring of fire.

Who's the greedy bugger? You already got your share of the loot; they're spending their shares.

Ah, my bad - I thought we were talking about henches.
If we're talking heroes then, yes, I'd have to agree they're a bunch of free-loaders.
That's the price we pay for being able to dominate their lives, I guess - wear this insignia/rune, wield this weapon/off-hand, use these skills.
Kind of like what they say about sex, in that you always end up paying for it in some way.

Oh ye,heroes simply own.
Vanquished tyria and cantha now with max 2 other real players.
The monks heal/prot better than 90% of PuG Monks.
Zhed/vekk/sousuke have great e-management and nobody tanks and pulls additional mobs better than them lol(speeds up the vanquishing ).
Interrupting hench: They simply rock at interrupting. gg
Olias: Gotta love how he keeps an entire minion army alive and in the same time keeping the entire enemy mob filled with conditions (viru + epi ftw)
On the other hand: Monk's coffee breaks and flag ignoring does happen rarely but hey, 10% MB all the way would be too boring right ?

Not much we can do for henchies, but we can tailor builds for their personalities (idiosyncracies).
Zhed is getting a Hammer and Earth spells for one. Knock yourself out!

Stefan: Thank you for... 'inviting' 6 Stone Summits and their pet Seige Ice Golems to play with us. We might have totally neglected them and hurt thier feelings if we'd finished with the group we were already in the process of fighting before going half-a-compass away to get their attention.
Alesia: You are an exquisite Rear-Echelon MF. The way you keep your eye behind us and turn around to distract the monsters and selflessly throw yourself into the fray so that we can escape unharmed from the baddies who were no threat to us at all, it's heartwarming.
Mhenlo: Ah, the ultimate playa. How many times did we get to redo missions, thus repeating our glorious FUN because you were too busy staring down Zenmai's top to heal us or walk out of the burning rain of fiery ouchness...
Reyna: Your attention to detail is commendable, even if it does border on Obsessive-compulsive disorder. The way you reapply your preps as soon as they reload to make sure you don't run out, even if you do have a good 20 seconds left. Thank you for taking such care to make sure you are contributing to the team.
Orion: How can I forget the one man urban renewal project? Making sure to clean up after the team by reliably firestorming any ugly corpses we leave lying around. How very ecologically-aware you are.
Koss: Forgive me, my afro-headed friend. I didn't know that you were a general. I had no right to get angry when you disobeyed my orders to GUARD and instead left the flag to run around the bend to go after that pesky ranger. Of course, you got Markis' attention and those damned purple people-eater guards of his, but you outrank me. I understand.
Tahlkora: Thank you for kiting. It's refreshing to see in a monk (*cough*Dunkoro, you listening?*cough*). And I know you're putting in so much effort to protect your girlish figure. That's why when you kite, you end up so far away, drawing in more friends for us to play with while you're too far to heal us against the pounding we're taking, right? But don't worry. I forgive you, and look forward to bikini season.
