Great contest.

This IS a real guild, created and led by me. It originally started as a joke in the Guru Mod's IRC channel, but then I actually looked at the idea and decided it was, in fact, a good way to go about getting this particular guild going.

Name & Tag:

The name is Your Guild Name Is, and the tag is [LAME]. Put together, it says Your Guild Name Is [LAME]. The joke behind it is all the guilds who use the "This Is Our Guild [Name]" style name/tag combos. I always made fun of them in IRC, so what better way to do it than make a similar one mocking their names, and winning the Hall of Heroes with it?

It was started as a joke but is now a serious (in the practicing phase) HA guild. In time, you'll see our name posted on HA wins

Recruiting:

We don't spam to recruit. We find random people in HA, play a few battles with them, and if they're good enough we ask them if they'd be interested in joining, after explaining the history behind the guild's name, as well as our goals.

Theme:

Our guild theme is simple. Mock guilds with the "This Is Our Guild [Name]" style name, while also mocking ourselves for using that style, by winning HA for all to see. We don't do GvG, we don't do TA, we don't do Alliance Battles. We're solely focused on Heroes' Ascent and are working to meet our goals.

Is this Raikkon? I kinda lost touch with all the old SM guys when I quit playing Diablo 2 and stopped doing admin work on there. You know any of the old SM guys who play GW? Would be nice to get in touch with them, fun times back when that site was busy.
