AB weekend, still another junk weekend for a faction farmer
Been waiting for 3 months until they decided to give a weekend event for Kurzick/Luxon title grinders. Last time they did it was double for any faction turned in. If you look AB is only 1 of many ways to grind this faction, so why is this being favored over challege missions, repeatable quests, and the blessings. Why not just make everyone happy by returning the double factions reward weekend instead of the AB weekend. Remember Kurzick/Luxon is a PvE title trake now, with the PvE skils being the big indicator. Yeah i know it pvx, but i think most people started grinding it for the pve skills, using pve methods.

probably just want people to play together more. not that AB pugs are even close to social most of the time, but hey, it's a shot i guess.

I figure double rep points will be when HM comes around. Oh well.
But i do agree, the double reward for the title track is a much better idea, although i kinda figured we would have GW;EN weekends:P Or at least game wide ones.

Does this grant x2 Balth AND K/L, or just K/L?
It's good for me either way, I can finally get around to getting stupid "Friend of the" titles regardless, but extra B would certainly sweeten the pot.

yeah I agree......double every K/L faction reward. That's being artificially overlimiting, only AB. Get more people involved by opening that up.

To be honest an AB double faction weekend doesnt make that much of a difference, as you have to wait twice as long for a game anyway.

Why Double AB rewards doesn't give double rewards:
1. Flooded AB servers making it take twise as long to get into a game.
2. It is only if you win, get a leacher team, and there will be tons this weekend, then u are one team short, chances to win are very much lowered.
So baxically are the mercy of the game timer, and even if u have a guild team, u still have to gamble on what the other 2 teams are.

You have to gamble on what the other 2 teams are. Yes, you do, but everybody assumes that the other side will always have 3 full teams, which most definitely will not be the case. I'll still participate in this, regardless. Sometimes I like watching my guild leader get owned in a matter of seconds..

Because promoting FFF would cause people to lose their mind over the mind-numbing grind.

Both Kurzicks and luxons will have leechers, so we are still equal.

If you are referring to the ''Server Limit'' please provide some proof since Arena Net claims there is no limit of AB's at the same time.
Getting in this weekend should go smoothly.

ArenaNet are lying through their teeth there because it is the ONLY conceivable reason that we would need to wait - there is no shortage of teams on either side.
That's my proof. We have all the groups we need joining but still need to wait.

Your proof is just uninformed Anet bashing. Unless you are able to see when teams enter an AB match, you do not know if there are actually no shortages in teams.
A more likely reason (although not anymore supported) is only a certain amount of games can be created at any given interval. This would help curve the load the servers take when they move players between different areas.

This is... kinda dumb.
Unless AN will implement anti-leecher and anti-leaver system before this weekend, it won't be double AB faction weekend- it'll be triple leecher weekend
