I won't leave if it's 3 ppl, you can still be competitive. RA is for people to chill out and have a few good matches, I think we can agree on that.

I'm trying to help you here, but lets just take a step back and recognize that firstly, this is a 'written' forum, not spoken. Unless you have voices in your head telling you otherwise (there's medication for that, too.) I don't think you read my post, which is sad for you, but confirms my assumptions.

well when i read others' posts i imagine their voice in my head and yours was that of an effeminate pansy-ass
EDIT: saw your edit, and let me give you a simple analogy. you're like an 8 year old who cries and moans while plugging your ears cuz you're afraid to get owned by the retort. i simply lock the door from the beginning and mind my own business. i hope your feeble mind can comprehend that.
EDIT2: well, im off to farm glad points in RA, hope to get flames that are less weak when i return.

You're quite adamant on your inability not to read, so I'll repeat for a third time what I said in my original post:

Hopefully this RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing bullshit will soon be changed and glad points will only be available in TA like they were supposed to.

keep telling yourself that, fruitcake (Terra)
and ta-only glad points aint gonna happen; anet needs ra grinders playing their game.
the most that can happen is a shorter streak requirement for ra and maybe bonus points for ta
penalizing leavers aint gonna happen either, cuz it would spawn a whole new wave of leeroys (to get to the next game faster) and griefers (to force you to quit and get penalized)

Everything you shouldn't bring into RA.
Don't get mad when people rage.
Honestly, the reason why better players like cytherea rage is because the majority of people are PVE who are too lazy to learn a new style of play. Even if it's only a semi-decent resource for higher level pvp, if you plan on RAing please look up some builds on pvxwiki. If people can learn to do what they're supposed to, stuff explodes and monks are happy and nobody leaves.

I do stay yes, I mostly play monk in ra.
Most ppl leave after one person does, thats when i get the most excited
I give the opposing team exactly 3 minutes to try to kill me, waiting to see what they do. Do they leave because they cant kill me? or do they stay and try their best? If after 3 mins they are still fighting, i leave aswell

Ya know Terrra Xin, I don't like being really think I should be called a chicken for having a more complex view on the subject that 90% of peoples "all leaverz r teh nubz" bullshit. Gladiator point farmers who leave then they don't see a monk, sure they suck and should be scorn, but you can't say people are bad for not want to play with a disadvantage.
All these topics about whether leaving is right are all total crud, leaving is acceptable under certain conditions, end of story really.

I stay but I shouldn't have to deal with this problem anyway. And RA people are DEFFINITLY not getting dumber, I've seen some royally stupid things done in RA indicating that the stupidity has always scaled to the lowest denominator.

Agreed with you in a way, but I think there's still something wrong if you got a spare half hour and you want to jump in for some quick play and you don't get to play because over half of the matches is unplayable to begin with. It's lame for people that don't farm and want to have quick fun.
Hard core PvP farmers CAN go to TA or HA or w/e, but casual players can't go there because they get stomped. When I started out PvP-ing I usually played AB, that's a nice casual format without leavers and the leeching problem is pretty exaggerated imo. I always thought of RA as pointless and frustrating.

Quote me on where you think I said that and I might be able to respond, thanks.
I don't think you are thinking your posts through accurately enough, you say that leavers should be scorned, but then you say they shouldn't be?
You need to think this through, a person will leave their group based on a 5 second assumption that the team that they are pitted with is going to suck, and will leave which puts their own team at a disadvantage - contradicting what you just said, saying that leaving should be allowed in 'some' cases - it's just not true. Anyone who spends that amount of time using no experience and ALL assumptions is exactly the type of people that deserve every punishment that they have been grieving onto other players.

And that's the whole problem in RA. People who treat their parties with grief in order to farm for a title, it's a wonder how these people live their day... It's not a life's achievement, but if you're gonna walk over others to get it, I feel sorry for them.

That being said, since we're disallowing players to leave and join repeatedly to get a team capable of 10 wins in RA, we felt we needed to take the cap down. These changes will go hand-in-hand.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that we're also adding mechanics for punishing leechers and a time limit on RA/TA games to stop runners.

And it's spelled - 'grievers.' You're getting there, I can see it!

Your not looking deep enough into the subject, what I am saying is that there are certain times when leaving is acceptable.
Leaving because:
-No monk
-No Heal Rit
-Two monks
-Other proffession you may think suck.
Is clearly wrong, and are the usual reasons of a gladiator point farmer.
However, if you leave because of:
-Real life issue.
-disadvantages.
-Immature teammates.
-A mistake in your build (Wrong skills or attriubes)
Can be justified. And I see little wrong with leaving at the end of a match, since you team will get a replacement.
I hope that has cleared up my opinion for you people.
Oh, and when you quoted me the title was "Posted by Chicken FTW" Which I assumed you were refering to me as a small, tasty bird.

:S, crap. There's a user named "Chicken FTW" on that page of the thread, I must've misquoted you and added his name instead of yours. I'm really sorry for the mistake. I was going to reply to his then decided against it. (Chainging now)
Anyway, yeah I see what you mean, thanks for clearing that up. My gripe and major focus is with leavers who desert their groups before the match starts, btw.

I left an RA match earlier after a warrior on my team used healing breeze.
It was followed up by insults and death threats against my family by the wammo.
I quit RA now.
