I agree. Add consumables.
Better care for the many near useless skills we have and improvements to gameplay would be better.
But people LOVE imba crap, also see "Siege Devourer" and the "challenge" of vanquishing Charr areas, aka get a friend or do it alone and abuse the SD to the max.
I fear GW2 will be centered around this so called "optional" titles and pve skills, and this will really be a sad day if this really happens.
Happy thread or not, would we not really be better off without the pve skills we asked for, in the long run?

I almost always carry pain inverter and finish him on my ranger.
In addition I often use great dwarf weapon, save yourself, and cry of pain.
IMHO cry of pain is vastly underrated. Yesterday I and 2 friends were doing frostmaw's hard mode with a pug. 3 people using an arcane echoed cry of pain = 600 damage spike IN THE AREA in about 1 second. It was rather easy.
Light of deldrimmor is awesome. In the aforementioned group I got 5 lockpicks from the hidden chests I think a total of like 20 picks dropped from hidden chests. I also get onyx sometimes, and at the bare minimum every dungeon I do earns me an extra 1.5kish.
The ebon vanguard wards are often very usefull. +48 armor for your whole backline vs charr? priceless in HM, and since the + damage of the ward triggers on every individual damage its very very nice for DoT's.
I haven't gotten air of superiority yet because I use that quest to still farm norn points every now and then, it sounds very helpful.
There's nothing to fear and aura of holy might are also way overpowered, though I don't use them since I primarily play ranger

I still have to find the PvE only skill for my monk that will stay on every bar.
Seed of Life is nice, but I can still replace it with something else without losing too much advantage.
Breath of the Great Dwarf is present when there is a lot of burning.
Great Dwarf Armor might be nice, not tried that yet.
The main 'problem' is that most of my monk bars are already as efficient as possible and it's hard to replace spells without breaking the bar.
The only possible skill I can think of is Air of Superiority, but the bonus is not reliable enough for me.
On my mesmer, choices are easier.
Pain Inverter against AoE foes.
Air of Superiority can be used as a combined MoR/E-mgt skill, given the team can kill fast enough.
Need to get the asuran summons, but running the Vanguard Sin with Sig of Illusions was fun.

Summon Mursaat
I look so doomy having a doom Mursaat hovering ominously in my entourage.
If only NPCs in the areas would react to the presence of my Mursaat. Like White mantle never attacking it, and krytan citizens bowing before my party since my Mursaat is present and say random quotes. Maybe effect Charr as well? Not sure how influential the Mursaat are (not really versed in GW Lore) but I do recall the Mursaat effigies along with the Titan ones.
::hugs his Mursaat:: Now if only GW offered a Mursaat plush toy....
Would be cool if the Mursaat said things like heroes do. And have interesting interactions with the heroes. Like Mursaat + Olias would be interest interactions and Mursaat + Razah would have potential to be rather comical.
Only wish the Mursaat had a better skill then Enervating charge. Like maybe Conjure Lightning (since it pretty much just tries to wand things to death), or Chain Lightning, or Lightning Hammer.
Too bad it wasnt "Summon Mursaat Mesmer" because you could get pretty close to Spectral Agony type effects with "Sum of All Fears" and some doom degen spell like Conjure Nightmare + Conjure Phantasm. Sum of All fears is exactly like half of the Spectral Agony description - slows Cast, Movement, and attack speed. Except for Sum of All fears you Attack, Move, and Cast 20% slower where Spectral Agony = Attack, Move, and Cast 80% slower.
Suppose that Summon would be an elite pve skill hehe.
Which makes me think why does Lightbringer and Norn get Elite skills when Dwarven, Asuran, and Vanguard get no elite skills? >.<
Anyway, back on topic...Summon Mursaat FTW even if he sounds like a robot

Ursa Blessing is the absolute best elite skill of any kind for a war, in my honest oppinion.
The reasons are simple, extra hp, armor the ability to deal armor ignoreing dmg, aoe knockdowns, ignore blind and speed buffs...what more could a war ask for

A knockdown and a ~250 unblockable damage spike for 10 energy? Sign me up. Plus he sticks around for a while and can interrupt dazed foes for you while you go and work on something else.

Sunspear Rebirth Signet. It just pwn Rez Signet in the face. Necrosis is my fav thats tied to a profession. I like it cuz sometimes you need just a little more damage to end a battle. Eternal Aura is a close second for fav tied to a profession. The other day I was doing Villainy and the other Dervs in the group kept asking how I kept Avatar of Balthazar up the whole time.

I agree with Eternal Aura, you can keep your avatar up almost 100% of the time.

I've been running Air of Superiority, Summon Ice Imp, and Pain Inverter on my Savannah Heat fire ele lately. Ice Imp is especaly useful since I don't have to spec into water magic to keep guys snared in my aoe spells, and the extra body for pain inverter always helps.
