Oh aye yeh I know. He bugged out on Dunes of Despair on me once and wouldn't lift the bridge. So out of boredom waiting for him to get his act together I left my ele dancing in front of him.

The screenshot was... interesting.. when she bent forwards her head was in a rather indiscreet spot.

Alas all my old Proph screenshots bit the dust in a hard drive meltdown.

Is that shot of Gwen supposed to show her "imprisoned"?

Look at the fence behind her... there's a gap EASILY big enough for her to get through. She could have escaped any time she wanted!

Bah! The Charr may not be great at making prisons, but they may be great at ripping the heads off anyone trying to escape. Plus, ya know, magic and all that.

Etta, great job finding these! Makes me a little excited to play them, now. Fighting alongside Turai Ossa has me all tingly.

Turn in a full book? (the ones you will get in the missions).

Players begin their journeys when they receive a book from a historian. The first few pages introduce the story and provide background lore that leads up to the event they are about to re-live.

Succesfully playing through the scenarios might unlock 'historical' treasures for our present-day characters to 'find'. And probably a minipet. There's always a minipet.

Wha, I wouldn't even be able to use MY character in this mission pack?
Fail. Epic fail.

Ditto.

This content looks so absolutely amazing, I'd really like to have it. But not at the cost of being forced to use a bloody online store. That just makes me want to give up on GuildWars altogether, being treated as a second-class customer...

With all due respect, when you go into a supermarket, and see a "Buy 2 get 1 Free" offer on a product, do you whine at the supermarket because you want to be able to buy 2 lots of that product elsewhere, cheaper, but still want their free one?

No. I didn't think so.

This is their promotion. People knew about it well in advance of the Eye of the North release, so if you didn't choose to take them up on their offer, your loss. If you're now feeling sorry for yourself because you made the wrong decision and don't want to spend more money on the online store...tough.

Since it's potential income for ArenaNet I wouldn't be surprised if they offered it to be bought separately somewhere down the line.

@ Etta, nice find. Looking foward to it.

Hi, just added 3 more screenshots on the first page. 2 shots of White Mantles VS Charr's war band and the last one is everyone favourite bad guy, Palawa Joko.

How do you propose...to travel back in time?

Did you ever read the description of the mission pack?

Quote:
The Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack will allow you to play through four pivotal moments in Guild Wars history.

* Earn unique rewards as you go face-to-face with Palawa Joko and his undead army as one of the key figures in the Battle of Jahai.
* Experience part of Cantha's turbulent past as you witness the violent Tengu Wars.
* Learn firsthand how the White Mantle rose to power in Kryta.
* Finally, discover what became of Gwen after the Charr invaded her home and the Searing destroyed everything she'd ever known.
I dont think your character was a key figure in the Battle of Jahai vs Palawa Joko....Now i understand about wanting to be anachronistic, but your complaint seems to stem from misunderstanding of what this was going to be and not a failure on Anet's side.

When i read that description, i thought "Cool! I get to be a white mantle >:O"

I don't need to propose anything, it's already in the game.
You could play it and see for yourself instead of trying to... uh, be funny?

Danger, danger space-time continuum breach! Shutting down GW servers. T-10.

Is he like a half-Norn or something? Is it possible that his ma was a Norn?
So would that make Varesh a Norn? I'm pretty sure they're related...same surname and all... *considers*
