There's a troubleshooting section on the mmozine website. I had to open up IE (i normally use firefox) and update the flash player with IE before I could get it to work.

I installed adobe reader 8 and flash player, before I downloaded the magazine but all I got is a white spot and a note which tells me I have a problem with reader and flash!
No idea why it doesn't work for me?
Tried again, and again .... but still the same, oh well no mini for me! :P

It worked for me. However, I was cautious and gave them one of my secondary email addresses instead of the one linked to my Guild Wars account.

GUIDE: FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEM RECEIVING THEIR KEY CODE FOR MINI CERATADON.
Send an email to: [email protected]
For subject box, put in : Pet.
For msg content, put in : Your Name & Email Address.
This is the easiest way to do it rather than having to go through the trouble
of downloading the pdf file, and signing up through it.
Trust me, it works.
I have gotten 20+ key codes this way for my guild & alliance members. ( I created 20+ different email accounts ;] )
You will most likely receive a reply within 5-15 minutes with key code included.
Their reply should look like this:
Hope this helps!

am I the only one who gets an uneasy feeling reading Goddess Elaine's posts about how to horde as many pet keys for yourself as possible? I am not sure if there's a 'one key per person' clause (I know there is per acct), but if there is....I'd be more hesitant posting your get greedy schemes
one per person is enough.

Hmm, I think you didn't read what I wrote clearly. I said I requested 20+ key
codes through that method, and given it to ALL of my guildies and alliances who needed it. It
is NOT FOR ME. I'M NOT SELFISH. I merely wanted to help all my mates out.

I'm not outraged or anything....but I don't think one person should be a collector and distributor of codes.....sorta....
If someone in my guild was handing out codes, the natural reaction is to accept, but most of us had to deal with a lot of sh1t yesterday (myself included) to get one (many others got lucky but still went through the same process)

Yes you did say that clearly. But yet, this is the door open to having dozens of these minipets. And not everyone will be as kind as to offer them, people will try to make money out of the scheme. I guess that's when Gaile's message comes into play and these people should get reported. I personally offered the extra codes I had to nice people from this forum that seemed to have problems getting them (hoping this makes a positive contribution, guess it's the same for you!).

Most of the people who received the code in my guild & alliance were people
who had problems in getting the code.
Edit: However, if you want me to remove that guide/method I wrote, I'll do it.
( and leave everyone who is having trouble here rot to death until someone helps them. ) O_o

On the actual site where you download the PDF, it says only 40,000 are available on a first come, first serve basis. I feel I have gotten news about this a little late and is wondering are these still available if I were to do it now?

Yes, it is still available most likely. My guild mate got one about 10 minutes ago.

that's the paradox of the work-around...
I acknowledge that people who find a work-around in order to help others is a justifiable cause. But personally using it to garner yourself dozens of pets (through making less-than-forthright junk email accounts) to then distribute as you see fit is probably not justifiable.
I'm not condemning you Miss Elaine, I don't feel that strongly about it, and I do believe you that you are trying to help out your guildies.
But as Fril stated, this opens the door to abuse, and starts the descent down the slippery slope where we transition from helping others to hording using junk accounts, where there's not much security because the publisher is tyring to get good codes out fast because of yesterday's debacle.
it's a gray area

Well I just did the find and upgrade the flash in your directory and I finally got rid of the white block.
I sent my request for the mini and I got an email "only for the subscription to their magazine"!! No code for the mini?? What is going on?
I give up!

I've got another idea for you: get another 20 and give them to people here that couldn't get them. Or maybe wait until about 20 of those got them using your method and report back here. Whichever you feel is best. What do you think?

that's what I'm uneasy with. Yes people who have been trying to get them should have them, but at this point it looks like the problems have been worked out, and if people want them enough, they can get them on their own.
one person getting dozens then handing them out is probably not what the publisher had in mind -- they are losing their publicity by someone circumventing having to go to their site, leaf through their issue, and send them a request. It's sorta like the provider is being cut out. Granted, if they hadn't made a debacle out of this yesterday, noone would be trying to.
Also, I don't want to derail this or actually turn this into a debate (in my mind it isn't), so I'll let this revert back to getting the word out that yesterday's travails are past and they are still available with a little follow-up
peace.
Goddess, to answer your question, I won't assume to tell you what to do. That's for you and greater powers to decide.

I'll go with 2nd option then.
Why? as for the first option, they told me that they have given the max
amount of codes to my host ( alluring-angel.com email accounts I
made ) so I gotta get it through the ' legit ' way if I wanted more
codes. :P ( a.k.a getting them from the magazine )

The spirit of my message was like "give one away for a needy for each one you used in excess of 1 (yours so to say)". But I should have stressed even more than there's no moral imperative to do so, it may simply prove to be more generous/positive. And even that can be questioned, one can say that GWG readers have a huge advantage on the rest of the GW population. As you said before, it's a gray area. Many of the things that can turn into positive contribution thanks a positive/generous intention, can very simply be used for destructive purpose with opposite intentions.
Peace.
