Creating a thread here isn't going to solve anything. Anet know people are not happy about getting promotion codes, but it's down to the magazines in your country. Post a rant thread on their forums.

Well I think it is a matter of simple demographics. Face it Eastern Europe hasn't got the most reliable infrastructure for internet. I know I used to be stationed in Romania. I saw a server on the backbone there and it was the nastiest mess of cables and outdated components I'd ever seen. Now I'm not saying that Eastern Europe is a backwards place I'm just saying that in general you don't find a whole lot of high speed infrastructure there which means that those countries have a significantly smaller online gaming population than say Germany.

Now looking at it strictly from a business standpoint it doesn't make sense to spend money on promos in places that account for maybe 2% of your total customer base.

Importing is not always possible. Noone's expecting anything for free, only the chance to buy something. Calling someone a failure for bringing up the point is also not very clever is it? Childish comments like yours is one reason why Riverside forum is becoming a pile of trash.

I've never done it but you can buy gold online, 100k for like £3. These magazines cost about £4 and you get a pet worth 3-5k.
