Now, it's not always the rarest skinned loot, but hey, it's nice stuff, and it only takes like 45 minutes or so to get. I'm not complaining.

Doing all the fow quests only takes 45 mins?

Yeah, or a bit more/less. I don't recall how long precisely, but it's less than an hour. All you need are a couple of Paragons (imagine that! ) and some Essences of Celerity. The other consumables help too, but not as much as the faster movement speed and the MAKEMONKSPELLSRECHARGEFAST effects from the Essences do.

Not an epic less-than-an-hour run, due to some disconnection troubles we had (I'm looking at you, Rob), but certainly far less than two hours. Moving 25% faster at all times and being sure to take the most time efficient paths really helps.
The next time I do a <1h run, I'll be sure to get lots of screenshots. I sort of thought it was normal these days, so I never bothered taking any.

I finally (After my first attempt was bugged - hunt quest bug) was able to complete FoW to get Hall of Monuments trophy. The chest was a nice second reward!

I cleared FoW on Saturday. It took 7 hours 19 mins due to much of the party leaving less than half way through. Done with 1 tank, 1 monk, 1 ele, and 2 rangers, only one of which was barraging. Most would have given up at that point but we carried on anyways (we wanted the statues for HoM).
From the end chest I got a passage scroll to FoW :| not even a gold weapon, no shards or key drops the whole way through either. what a kick in the teeth for such persistence.

Me and the alliance did this for the HoM trophy and most of us had never finished every quest. I came away with 6 shards and an inscribable q11 Archaic Axe (Factions skin?) from the end chest, along with assorted other goodies. Not bad.

Actually, I don't think you're guaranteed a gold at all.
Cleared this weekend and I got a FoW scroll, so I figured they just give you a gold whether it be a weapon or the scrolls, but then one of my team mates got a shard, sapphire, onyx, and a key, I believe.
They said they weren't complaining and really, neither was I.

Yeah, I think it's onyx, key, shard, <random gold-level drop> a la the Dungeon Chests in GWEN.

Went with a guild group to clear FoW and the chest dropped 3 things for each of us.... for me = shard, gemstone, lockpick..
Not bad considering 8 shards from the run.... 2 hours for all

the big problem is that most people are going to use their main title/monument character and not alota people use paragons as their main char LOL
use any char that is your main monument char and put up the ursan blessing 6 real ppl with ursan and 2 hero healers and its not only easy it is just fun as hell to roll through.
