Making money in GW seems easy to me. Just run NM cathedral of flames and you'll get between 3.5k-10k depending on if you get an onyx or not. It doesn't take long at all and you can do it with H/H. Once you get really familiar with it and have nice hero builds to smack it up, it goes really quick.

This isn't the best way to make money but I thought I'd toss it out there.

I honestly don't know where my money comes from anymore, but I seem to be making 100k every 3 days. This is how often I buy a stack of 80 lockpicks for 100k, and my bank is stable.

All the money made back for this is in HM and dungeons, by selling mods and runes obtained. Haven't farmed in a very long time.

Actually, I make this money by playing the game. As it was intended even. No power trading, no scams, no running, no nothing.

But I'd have to say that HM is the key.

Loot scaling isn't has been noticed by me directly, but i can definately tell from teh economy. The prices of everything has drop alot, except for the ulta rare items.
Mb when the contest winner weapons are added in game, they might be sellable, frankly very little is sellable now a days.

Money comes and money goes, its the nature of life in our world....

If you spend all day playing GW, and I mean out in the instances exploreing, vanquishing, doing missions/quests/dungeons and open a few chests along the way you will make money.

If you spend all day sitting in Lions arch hoping to get 100K + XX ectos for an item nobody really wants your not going to make any money at all.

If you spend money on keys/runes/armor/weapons/ect.. faster than your earning it you will never have any money.

This is a game, play it and the rewards will come in time, but it does take time.

Only a very few are fortunate enough to get a single drop that makes them rich, the vast majority of us have spent many many many hours playing the game in order to afford the items we wish to possess.
