I'd have to rank them as follows:
1. Nightfall - A very well done campaign with a lot of helpful innovations like heroes & bounties. Enjoyed playing both new classes.
2. Prophecies - Some good missions, interesting areas, and of course the lovely pre-searing.
3. GW:EN - I like the new bounties and new bounty bonuses. However, I've quit playing this until they fix the risk (harder challenges) vs. reward (craptastic loot) problem. Also, the time required to complete sections, such as multi-level dungeons is a huge problem for casual gamers with real life time constraints.
4. Factions - The two classes were not well-balanced for PvE. Got tired of facing the same foes (affliced) for most of the missions. Besides the beautiful Shing Jea, the other areas were not visually enjoyable. Got really tiring adventuring in the bleak Kurzick & lonely Luxon areas, or the dingy maze-like Kaineng city. The addition of the PvE-only skills requiring Allegiance ranks was the final nail in the coffin. I had pushed all my characters thru the campaign and traded in spare points for jade/amber long before this was introduced, and I now have no easy way to farm allegiance ranks. I'm PvE-only and do not AB. My only way to get allegiance points would be via ising kurzick/luxon blessings, and it would require me killing upwards of 20,000 monsters (that's not a typo!) just to reach rank 1 in order to get those skills in their absolute weakest state. Complete and utter idiocy on ANet's part.

Started in Factions and will always call it home.
Then Prophecies, then Nightfall.
GW:EN still seems like a beta test to me. Still working all the bugs out.

For me it would be this:
1. Prophecies - I recently created a perma-presear character. I loved presear and LDoA gives me a convenient excuse to spend more time there. I took 9 characters all the way thru prophecies. I love everything about it.
2. EoTN - I love the way they do the bounties now, no having to get past all the mobs and then getting the bounty too late for it to do any good. I love the dungeons. I love the storylines and the humor. Hall of monuments is pretty cool. I love seeing everyones stuff on display. I love the new heroes.
3. Tie between Factions and Nightfall -
In Factions: I love playing the ritualist. I love the winding maze of cities, the jade sea, the forests. I love having alliances. I love AB and challenge missions. I loved how they did the armor. I don't like the timed missions though. I preferred the separate bonus that you had in prophecies. It iratates the heck out of me to miss masters by 2 seconds.
In nightfall: I loved the storyline, the bounties, and the heroes. I love all the varied areas. I loved the challenge of the last area, especially domain of madness. I loved the vabbian armor for my necro and my ritualist. I loved the elite sunspear armor for my elementalist. I loved how they changed the mods on armor and weapons.

For me the best campaign ever would have to be Factions- Probably my favorite because it was my first campaign. I guess it's that way for everyone. Anyways Factions just drew me into the story and the sceneries were amazing. I also love PvP way more than PvE. There's also that element of Kurzick and Luxon, so me being a noob started hating all luxons and refused luxon monks into my groups. Factions took me 3 months to finish. Ahhh good days.
2nd Prophecies- Lol this was the last campaign that I bought. Finished it in exactly 3 days. Prophecies has great sceneries and an exceptional storyline but it just didn't wow me like Factions did.
3rd GWEN- I actually like this one a little more than Prophecies but it lacked enough material to be worth that forty dollars. Sure it was an expansion but it costed me more than Prophecies.
4th Nightfall- The all-time worst campaign. Dull sceneries, boring and monotonous storyline, a lot of useless grind to get through the game with local characters, not very creative enemies, all you had to do was kill corsairs, then kournans, then margonites, then demons, then its over. This was the campaign that I had bought second. It was also the only campaign I didn't at all enjoy playing, so I rushed through it to beat it and get my book of secrets, and for my bragging rights. DOA was a complete letdown just like HM.

Nightfall: I liked pretty much all of it. And c'mon, koss and his do. And introduced my most reliable party member, Olias. And dzagonur bastion and consulate docks, probably my fav missions yet.
GWEN: I love the minigames and tourney's introduced and who didn't go lol when you see mhenlo get ganked by a horde of dino assassins? Pretty short though, and can't really see myself playing this with more than one character.
Prophecies: Was nice for when it came out, but is pretty dated now. Plus it's real long and slow if you're not doing it for the first time. First playthrough, real good. But repeatable? Real drawn out.
Factions: You do get to see how much of a pimpmaster mhenlo is, but otherwise it's pretty much just getting lead around by a leash.

Even though Nightfall, Factions and Eye of the North improved upon the original in so many wasy (Eye of the North battle music anyone?), I'd still have to say Prophecies.

each have their own highlights for me.
I like proph for it's length. Factions for character development ala Shiro, Nightfall for the general story, and GW:EN for the little differences in gameplay, the graphics and sound, as well as a different approach to the story/mission layout and execution.
That's the basic summary for me as I don't feel like reviewing them all at this time. I can't really choose a favorite, because for me they all win in different aspects. Yet fail in others.

I liked each of the three campaigns very much. If I had to rank them...
1. Factions. My first and favorite. Great scenery, short enough for replayability on many different characters, but still with lots of opportunity to explore/cap/farm/etc. Best bosses and greens of any campaign, imho, and best starter area (great music there, too). Ritualists...great class.
2. Prophecies. An obvious classic. Had an epic scope...although that hurts its replayability for me on multiple characters. Also had some cheesy looking enemies (mergoyles?). Otherwise an excellent campaign all around. Southern Shiverpeaks - a great area and probably some of the best music of all.
3. Nightfall. Third in my opinion, but I still thought it was great. Also some great bosses, and some good greens. Scenery good, but not a whole lot of variety.
4. EotN. Um...

I have to agree. It feels like a completely different game, and not in a good way (for me). Some nice scenery, so many disappointments, so much stuff I don't like and don't care about (minigames, most pve skills, asura, vekk, grind, armor, etc.). It feels like a hodgepodge of unrelated gimmicks, like it lost its focus. Very low replayability for me. I'll take my favorite chacters far enough through to get Livia, Xandra, Hayda, and Kahmu, but then I'll be spending my remaining GW time in the other campaigns. It does have one of my favorite Accept/Reject dialog boxes though...Kilroy Stonekin, wherever he gives you a quest: "Accept: Kilroy, you're insane. I love it. Reject: Kilroy, you're insane. I'm not going anywhere with you." I laugh everytime I see that. My brightest spot in EotN.

Not really. You get to R7 easily just by doing the local quests in Kourna...'
Also, Factions. Canthan characters have the best face options, for one thing...

I don't have EotN yet.
You could get a Gold Pack or whatever you call it that has both Prophecies and EotN. It should be out soon, if I remember correctly.

I have my own loves for each chapter.
Proph: Has the best "look" out of the 3. Just a wide range of environments, change of pace, and feel. I'm a major Screenshot addict and by far my SS library consists of Proph screenies more than Factions, or Nightfall. So proph gets the best look vote from myself.
Factions: Best music. I could listen to the Jade Sea music, while sitting in Cav. for hours. Also in K.C. Was not a fan of the story, or the look.
Nightfall: I think it's the best story. When I first played through it it just got more intense, more twisted, and more impressive. It had the "This is creepy" feel the more I advanced. What felt like just a growing war between two sects turned into a twisted dimension and a battle against a God. It helped that I thought the cutscene acting, voice over, was the best of the 3 chapters too. Music...meh. I'm neutral on it. Environment wise, I love being in the torment areas, but overall it felt redundant.

Heh I'm gonna get gang raped for saying this, but my order of fun-ness would be:
Factions
Love the timed mission slugfests, adrenaline levels go up when you rush through a mission and rape everything in the way. I often zone to Cantha to help players get masters rewards just for the heck of it.
GW:EN
Challenge is awesome, monsters have 2 professions and res and the scenery is just....yummie.
Farming dungeons has pretty good replay value.
Nightfall
Was awesome for heroes, and the realm of torment can be good fun, I just absolutely hate vabbi.
Prophecies
Too bloody long and repetitive ImO, only later on in the game stuff gets more fun.

Proph = WiN, been playing since release and although i "holiday" to Elona and Cantha to save their lands, i ALWAYS end up back in Tyria, it's my homebase and im drawn to it.
On another note, as soon as Bonus changed to Master and became time based in near enough EVERY mission, that was all = FaIL. It doesn't add any new element to the gameplay and frankly annoyed the hell out of me all the way through Cantha and Elona.
But i love them all none the less, Proph > Cantha Elona GW:EN all on par tied at second.

Factions is tops for me. Reasons why:
1. My first GW game.
2. Really unique locations that the other campaigns just don't match.
3. Kurzick/Luxon choices created a neat social divide that is often times playful in nature, where people can choose their alliance and battle it out. A very nice touch. AB's created a bridge between PvE and PvP gameplay.
All of the other games...I think they just enhanced my original experience with Factions, so I can't pick which one is second third or fourth.
